This one seemed like they killed him just for the sake of killing him -_- i liked the actor and character too -_- |
are these characters the same as in the comic? ie. all black? stupid questions warning... was there any significance in noah cutting his brow getting through the wire fence? they seemed to focus on that. also, what is the deal with the grandfather clock sitting in the middle of the road? same goes for the spraypainted words "wolves not far" (i think) on the brick wall? |
easily the worst episode in series history, for so many reasons.... and I completely understand it's supposed to be a human emotional drama at it's core, but for fucks sake they are killing me with this constant sob bullshit..... And even when a hardcore killer joins the group spices things up for a bit, ends up falling victim to emo status eventually... bitch slipping too, forgot how to use her swords from what I seen this last episode One of those ones that really makes you question whether you should continue watching it,... but you're just hoping to chalk it up to a bad episode and move on.... last time I did that for a show though, I ended up watching the 2 final seasons of Lost... |
I have to agree, that was a really bad episode. |
episode could have been 5 minutes, but then they added 37 mins of flashbacks/flash forwards. |
G-spec hit the nail on the head. I've set my PVR to stop recording. |
Its a cycle We all bitch and complain after a shitty episode But we continue to watch to find out what happens :lol |
^ the hallmarks of addiction. this show is still much better than Z Nation lol. |
I just fast forward 3/4 of the episode nowadays |

Walking Dead has humor.... in a stupidity kind of way A limping one leg Noah outrunning Tyrese :seriously: |
On top of what was said above about the filler material in this episode, some of the new cinematics were super awkward as well, I don't think they fit in with the rest of the style of the show at all. |
Honestly, this last episode felt like they were trying to do a 'Breaking Bad' style episode, but missed the mark. Those who watched Breaking Bad will probably know what I'm talking about. Spoiler! |

wasn't paying attention because that was a pretty pathetic episode after a 2 month break did they explain why there's so many bodies sliced in half in the gated community and why there was a whole bunch more in the back of that truck? |
the community was attacked by another group. the radio reports tyreese was hearing in his head give hints as to who they are, as well as the spray painted warning in the brick wall, and the 'w' carved into the foreheads of the victims turned walkers... |

but the other thing that bothers me is the baseball bat glenn picked up. those of you who read the comic know what i mean :( |
let's not drop such major hints for the non-comic book readers :lol |
I already wrecked it for myself Spoiler! |

if you guys want to skip all the bullshit: read the comics. they are way different from the tv series and way more graphic and detailed. Id say the show and the comic share about 20% in common. How Tyrese Dies in the Comic: Spoiler! |
Finally watched the first episode of season 5, wasn't impressed |
Not the best episode, but better than what is out there for sure. I enjoy TWD but hard to see another main character go off so quickly. I hope this season leads to something as right now it seems they're treading water. |
i feel like tyrese could have died during the last segment and the season opener could have been something else that was huge. i liked his character but he basically checked out in terms of contribution to the story since the gov'na plot (I guess it ties to the comic in that sense). |
