anyone else feel that this season is a lot better than previous ones?

I skimmed through most of this current season and it's significantly better than last season. It was such a big difference that I decided to Google it, and apparently the former showrunner, Scott Gimble, got replaced by Angela Kang. That pretty much explains why this season was actually pretty damn good, especially the last episode before they went on winter break.

Digging deeper into Scott Gimble revealed that he's the current showrunner for Fear The Walking Dead, and everyone is saying that this season has been absolute shit :lawl:

I think a lot of us have tuned out and stopped watching by now but I gotta say, season 9 has been pretty good. I didn't think they could shock me anymore with everything that's happened so far but.... wow.

Godamn it. I haven't given this show a 2nd thought in years but this comment makes me wonder what I'm missing.

I stopped watching after season 7, now I'm tempted to see jump back on for season 9 :lol

season 9 was recently added to netflix lol. a lot of the time i just watch things so i can half ass watch it and do other things. this time however, it actually caught my attention. i think that says a lot when it comes to this show.

Going through my netflix, I stopped watching about 4 Episodes into season 8. Picked it back up last night for a couple. You better not be wasting my time Spoon! haha

I honestly don't remember much of season 8. I'm pretty sure it wasn't that good. Season 9 however has changed my mind about this show again.

Yup. I'm glad I started watching again. Season 9 really is good. I managed to avoid any kind of plot spoilers in my time off watching so there have been a couple really good "holy shit" moments.
