finally watched the finale. yeah, the anti-climactic fight was super disappointing but it wasn't an extremely terrible episode heh.

Red-nijzllab 06-13-2013 09:25 PM

Has anyone tried the Comic Book based video games? It's pretty intense.

spoon.ek9 06-27-2013 10:17 PM

started reading the comics with my spare time recently. i'm up to issue 101. this is definitely a huge jump from what's shown on the tv series. it's definitely good reading though (note: i fucking hate reading). it can literally be taken as an entirely different story as there are similarities but like, 100x more differences compared to the show.

just finished season 3...dunno why im still watching this...
it's too slowwwwww...

I can't believe I'm still going to watch this show after how disappointing S3 was.

DanHibiki 07-19-2013 02:26 PM

Looks like Daryl is getting even more spotlight?

I wonder if they decided to abandon the whole comic book arcs and create their own walking dead universe.

It looks like there's going to be a lot more zombies.. should keep the bandwagoners happy

Ronin 07-19-2013 03:33 PM

Not really. I can already see the "Tyrese flips out and goes beast mode on zombies" in the trailer. They'll keep elements but the story is moving away from the comic book.

In some ways, that's great...it gives us a fresh story but at the same time, the comic book's story is absolutely brilliant although I can see why it wouldn't translate well to TV...even if it's on HBO.

Yeah I was curious how they'd translate the hunters arc but I can see why they'd skip it. Either way I'm happy since I get two versions of walking dead.

Ronin 07-19-2013 04:09 PM

Lots of characters got cut. Not surprised that part went.

Shades 07-19-2013 04:25 PM

I want to watch this now!

ShadowBun 07-19-2013 04:37 PM

spoiler
Spoiler!

DanHibiki 07-19-2013 05:25 PM

Prob that new black character. He got a lot of screen time in that trailer and talking bout how he wants to pull his weight and earn his keep. Those are typical set ups for someone who's secretly bad.

First Cutty and now D'Angelo, I wonder who else from The Wire will be cast?

Kim Jong Un 07-19-2013 08:11 PM

I hope S4 doesn't drag on and on like S3.
