What are some weird idiosyncratic things you're nostalgic about?
 

Got talking with a friend, what are some weird things that you are really attached to from your younger days? Ie, you probably wouldn't let other people know you're into it since it's sorta weird/embarassing? Strange music albums or hobbies?


For me, some things is the computer game Myst and Riven listening to their soundtracks, along with eating cheese macaroni... watching BestMotoring. Since I was a kid I've also had a strange interest in Timex watches.

Interested to hear of other peoples.. :)

Lately I've been poopsocking COPS. Haven't watched it in years, and now I'm absolutely addicted.

Bonsai trees, i don't know why.

Hhahaha, man I used to watch that show with my parents.. so oddly entertaining:D

I've lately been waking up to watch the Jerry Springer show at 1pm on days when I have work at 3pm. It gives me a good chuckle before work.

whenever i hear certain songs, i'd remember the games i played while listening to them

mmorpgs and starcraft usually.

or when i see young people driving older/sporty Hondas, i remember less stressful spring days driving around in my old honda.

OMG! Myst and Riven. I was so proud when I finished Myst in one shot..... just under two days with no sleep. Riven was, OK.

Then I received Pyst as a gag gift. Bwahahahaha........

u just stack them up and use your slammer to see how many pogs u can take out of the stack and u get to keep them :D

LOL i remember people would get pissed off when you use the metal slammers and dent the shit out of the pogs.

I was such a WWF freak back in the day....haven't watched wrestling since the early 90's though.

to this day I am still a huge nerd of Ghostbusters. I love the proton pack and hope to try to build a replica one of these days but it seems extremely difficult. Gonna cosplay that shit around!!
