Updated and all | Not anymore. Quit after rank 30 con. The new SP system encourages players to grind on weak coblyns and puks. 60 SP each kill, 20 seconds duration. While this is really quick SP grinding, it gets so boring after 2 hours.
I miss the days when large parties go to Treespeak/Mistbeard Cove for Efts, Camp Riversmeet for Peistes, Mor Dhona for ugly frogs. The SP was random, but it was at least challenging. Now you just go around smacking things that won't even damage you, and die in 2 hits.

Only played it for about a week and haven't really touched it since. Other than the graphics, the game failed in so many ways.  | |

4.5 year bump. I'm enjoying the game, I play pretty casually just messing around. Enjoy the environments and the main quest line. I'm on the Jenova server if anyone still plays. I don't have any character class above level 35.
On a side note, there is a game coming to NA / EU called 'Blade and Soul' looks pretty good. Looks like a hack n slash version of FF14. Closed beta comes out in a few weeks, should check it out if you guys like that sort of thing.

Blade and Soul has taken forever for a NA release. Never mind the closed beta. You can download and try the early revision of the game for free.
