Hi guys,

BCIT has offered me "provisional acceptance" to Financial Management. However, I must pay $200 to reserve my spot before Jan21. I didn't pay, because I'm not 100% sure I will be going there. Does anyone know if the program fills up really quick? I don't want to pay the $200 and decide to go to somewhere else.. as the fee is not refundable.

You should call and find out as the program does fill up rather quickly.

I have one parking ticket so far. I thought they can tow your car once you get your third ticket?

Tenured students - please correct me if I am wrong. I always purchase an e-ticket to prevent matters such as this from arising.
Correct.

if youre going to school full time M-F i suggest you get all to pay through e permit.. you save like a dollar week by doing this and you get all 7 days and get to pretty much park at any student lots.. this saves you the hassle of getting out of your car to buy a ticket and putting it back in your dashboard

The parking lots here are getting so full and so early now that classes in January started. It's like everyday have to go 5min earlier than the previous day.

Look at it this way... lets say if you decided later that you wanted to go, but the program was FULL. At that point, would you be willing to pay $200 to get in again? Don't bother saving a few pennies when it comes to school or potential career stepping stones! It's really not worth the risk, and waiting another year will only lead to a loss of even more money! If I was accpeted at 4 schools and I hadn't decided on one, I would hold every spot just for safety!

How many of you guys use the myBCIT webmail and have encountered problems? I am confident I submitted a homework assignment to my prof last Sunday, however the e-mail did not show up in my "Sent" folder. The prof never questioned me about it but I'm quite concerned.
