use firefox, go to print preview and then scale it accordingly. I tried to fit everything into 1 page but the font came out too small anyway. So i just printed it at 100% with 3 pages. Hope this helps

BCIT's tax structure kinda bullshit

my 2nd semester started December 12th, paid for it on the 11th, yet they "pro-rate" the payment and lump it in for the new year, therefore i cannot claim it for income tax this year, effects my return by about $700 :@

Does anyone know about CISCO @ BCIT? I'm planning to take cisco, and am interested in getting certifications to use alongside my future degree in comp sci (@sfu)

I'm not the most logical person out there, so I'd need your opinion on whether or not I should even attempt cisco...

-when is the registration deadline?
-approximately how much is each course?

thanks =)

I'm taking the Cisco program right now, however part-time. Several other members here have completed the program as well.

1. Registration deadline is anytime before the class however, if the class is full, you are screwed. Your only other option is to take a class on another day its offered. Classes are relatively small. I think 16 to 18 people max?

2. $995 excluding books (you only need the work book which is about $65.)

It's the Cisco step program. There are 4 courses/modules and once you complete them, you can write the CCNA, or at least the 4 modules will prepare you well enough to write it. Then again, there are some people who are already in the industry who know what they're doing and end up writing the exam after the first module. If you take one module per semester (winter/spring/summer/winter) you can finish the entire program in 1.25 years.

Not sure about the exam. The quizzes in class are pretty tough for guys like myself who do not have a proper IT/electronics/working knowledge and foundation.

A few guys on RS have taken the exam and are CCNA certified. Hopefully they can chime in on this.

The questions on the quizzes/tests we have in class can be a total brainfuck sometimes. They're very quirky in how they word their questions so you have to pay extreme attention to every detail in how the question is formed.

Even in the labs, the instructions will explain how you complete the network topology using specific cables and settings. One wrong move due to ill-attention to detail can and will result in hours of frustration.

Don't ask me how I know.

Most people use the temple. I've also heard that the casino was used as well.

BTW, the guy working on the STi in your class should have used a soft-faced hammer on his rotors. It should have worked better because you can hit harder, and it was getting annoying being within earshot of it since I was on the brake lathes.

There was like 6 guys working on that thing, no doubt someone done goofed. Wonder how much, if any, that's gonna run him. Took them 20 minutes to get the hoist on the car since it's low lol.
