41st and Victoria is so jammed up. I'm so used of taking that route so I keep forgetting
that it's under construction. (I only drive through it a few times a week)
And I keep getting stuck...

i wish end of sept.... if they truly are finished at the end of sept then they are just going to patch up the road instead of making it smooth

They work 7-3 to avoid rush hour, since the heaviest traffic starts around 3 when all the kids are off school.
and you'd be surprized how few people are actually sleeping at 7.

and they should be paving the whole strip from kingsway to grandview highway in one go when they're done. I live on 21st and the patch of asphalt they put down at nanaimo around a manhole has sunk 3 inches. if I'm not careful I bottom out on the manhole now.

Yes we all complain about construction (and I garantee you none of you spend as much time in construction traffic as I do.), but its gotta be done before winter.
Just suck it up, take some detours and in the end it'll be a little better off than before.

they are going to have to stop in september/october anyways, they cant lay asphalt or concrete in temperatures below 5C, they need 24-48 hours of temps above 5 Degree.

I bent both of my passenger side RPF1's on Nanaimo

Not familiar with the area otherwise I would have avoided it entirely. Didn't notice a manhole in time and bam.

Avoid the area. Especially if lowered.

Looks like Nanaimo's now a one-lane street in the mornings.
