When you guys said Printed money
Do you mean printed as in you guys cut it well enough so it looked like the real bill.
Or did they take obviously printed and not official monopoly boardgame money?

I cut it fairly good, but the paper is different, so they will know if they actually care. i went to metrotown, vic+41st, and kingsway/vic ones and all 3 took my printed ones. 7 boxes of fries and only 1 free cone.

I think the whole idea behind the free fries was to get people talking about the Monopoly game at McDonald's. It's a great promo offer. People go nuts when shit is free. I go there, I buy a pair of pies or drinks, or whatever. It makes good business sense. I'm hooked on Monopoly now. People wait all year for it. The more publicity it gets, the better for them. Take the McDonald's Halloween treat coupons. Eight for a friggin buck. Young get kids going to redeem their coupon - their parents and friends usually tag along.
So, the cheap ass owner/manager of the 57th and Knight location needs to go take a refresher course. I for one will not step foot in there.
I'm only one person, but suppose two people stopped gong there..... 5, 20, 7000!!! Yes, power to the people........ gawd, I love it. I was a hippie back in the 60's, man. Power to the people, right on.
Time for more pills............ sorry.

You guys see the signs on the doors the last two days?
"We take, Visa Mastercard, AMEX" ............. and there was an image of a 50 dollar Monopoly money pasted to the sign. Love it. Marketing genius.

here 20 pieces costs like $9 dollar | I don't think that's a promo... that's their regular price.
But it's kind of stupid... they have 4 pieces for a buck... but then they're 20 pieces was like $6 or something... makes sense to buy 5 x 4-pieces instead of 1 x 20-pieces.

I remember seeing an ad from McD's - it specifically said "1 for $1.99 or 2 for 3.98" making it sound like you were getting a deal if you ordered 2.

the 4pcs for $1 was in the states, just part of the dollar menu thing going on down there.

That's why I said "that's their regular price", with "their" meaning US.
