Yes. |
Monthly Passes can be purchased and tapped up to the 15th of each month. From the 16th, passes purchased will be eligible for next month's use. Monthly passes don't start on first day of each anymore? |
monthly pass still starts at the first day of each month. from what i understand, monthly passes purchased from the 16th and on is for next months use. so if you bought a monthly pass on feb. 16, the monthly pass is for the month of march, which will start on march 1. if you want to buy a monthly pass for feb, on the 16th or later, then i am not sure how to do it. maybe do it online or at the actual office? but you would prolly have to take the transit ALOT everyday to make the most of it. |
Are there any apps out there that let's you track a certain bus real time? |

Is it just me or do these faregates seem pretty useless when it come to keeping people out of the system without a ticket? By that I mean the gate opens and closes quite slowly, so it seems easy enough for a person to walk in behind you before the gate has a chance to shut. London and San Fran use the same design of faregate, so not sure if this will be an issue or not. |
i've seen people follow others through. once the first person passes the gate, theres a sensor that triggers the gate to close. if the person behind didn't tap in, the gate will close. it will not detect an object and open back up lol. that said, the second person can still force their way through it. |
SFBART communicator fired back against complaints on Twitter. Wonder when Translink gonna do the same :) San Francisco?s transit system stopped being polite and got real about complaints on Twitter - Vox LA Metro sympathetic respond: |
What the fk is translink tax on monthly parking pass? I was inquiring about monthly parking pass on impark lot in downtown. They said on top of their price there is translink tax + gst? Dafug It's a lot owned and operated by impark, no? Why does translink get a piece? Sigh.... |
i think the better question is, what DOESN'T translink have their hands in. |
Anyone lost their compass card before? Can you buy a new card from the machine and transfer everything over from your previous one? Fuckin Mondays :fuuuuu: |
Not sure if you can do that yourself (don't think so). I lost mine and went to one of their offices which did it for me. |
It's too bad their offices close by the time I'm off work =\ Quote:

Correct, you can't do it yourself. Also, for you to be able to transfer the balance from your lost card to a new card, your lost card also has to be registered. I believe you can call it in and they can do it for you and mail out a new card. But because of the Canada Post situation, its probably best to visit their office to get it done. |
Gave em a call earlier. Just gotta buy a new card and they'll transfer over through the phone no problem. Given that your card is registered. |
