| Gift ideas for a 1 year old
So my good friend's kid turns 1 this week, and I want to get him a nice present. But for the life of me, I can't figure out what would be a nice gift to get him. Any ideas from you guys out there? I would like to get a meaningful gift. I was thinkng maybe clothes from Gap Kids? Thanks in advance! Posted via RS Mobile |

Posted via RS Mobile | An educational toy or a jacket since winter is coming. If you buy a toy make sure its got large parts. 1 year old kids stick things in their mouth now. Right now my 1 year old loves watching music dvds. might want to look into it as well. If you want to buy some nice clothes go to the usual stores such as please mum or gymboree as they usually have sales. If you really want to get some nice clothes, there is a store called babes on 4th ave. Be warned, it is really expensive but very good quality and really cute european look. Good luck.

A Canucks jersey is more for when a child is older. I remember when I was a kid my parents came back from a Jets game and bought me my first Winnipeg Jets jersey. I was so happy and wore it for weeks. It's more of a gift when he understands it and he will never forget that moment.

Yea, I mean he is only one years old, how meaningful can a gift be. just get him something fun, like something that flashes but make sure its safe.

Now it will fit my youngest... time to break out the camera!
I guess my point is, the gift if not really the jersey itself, it's something to reflect on for both the parents and the child later on in life.
Senna4ever may be given credit as the person who got him into watching hockey... you never know.

Don't get clothes.
Kids that young will grow out of them real quick. Go with Domani's suggestion and get the parents a GC to Metrotown or something so it gives them flexibility on what they want to use it for.
