i'm in a similar boat, i lowered my DD this year :D

not really looking forward to using my 13" steelies w/ snow tires hah. currently sitting on 15" steelies and it's pretty low already!

murd0c 10-11-2010 12:36 PM

you guys who have lowered rwd cars should pick up a $500 winter beater. There are a ton out there right now and it's better then having to worry every time you go out. just put insurance on it with no collision and you will save a bunch of cash on insurance as well.

lowered, RWD, and 35 profile tires.

fuck, looking forward till spring already....

Even with AWD, as mentioned, it's the turning and stopping that's a problem. Going is never an issue.

Ch28 10-11-2010 03:39 PM

Lowered Fit is staying home lol

Good thing is that my Heineken Holland House jacket can finally come out of hiding!

Yeup, I know all about that
the truck itself weighs in at 3.5 tonnes, thats not easy to stop or turn thats why i drive slow, and I'm able to get everywhere safely while everyone is stuck, even with their SUV

Looks like this http://www.city-data.com/forum/attac...a_snowplow.jpg

Looking to make some spare cash plowing sidewalks and driveways. The more snow the better :)
