These games are always fucking sick
and after fallout 3 i have HUGEEEE expectations for this one
huge map, multiple plot-lines. and everything you do has a consequence. the details are amazing.

what do you need to run it? i worry my laptop will not be powerful enough, F3 at some times got laggy

before i upgraded i played through like 75% of F3 with laggy graphics

if i knew how amazingly awsome it was going to be running a decent rig, i wouldnt have even played it like that lol

yah low graphics suck.

Is this a cd-key mandatory game? as in you are required to register it online before playing?

I wish they would release a new Oblivion game too.

Anyone know if it's a steamworks game? I wanna get it but I might not be able to purchase right off steam because they don't accept PayPal instant transfer and I have no CC :(.

Would buy the retail if I could get it to work on my steam account like CIV5.

don't know if you guys knew this already but the game has quite a few celebrity voice actors. The new DJ "Mr. New Vegas" will be voice actor "Mr. Las Vegas- Wayne Newton."

^I think fallout 3 is about 40hrs long but don't quote me on that.

Definitely worth it for the price.

And to answer my previous question, Fallout New Vegas does require steam to play. Which means I can buy it anywhere and just pop it into my steam account. Hooray!

Whats the benefit of running this game on steam?

For me, I like having my PC games all on my steam account, it gives me access to it in the future and it doesn't require me to have a physical copy of the game.

You get the steam overlay and stuff in game so you get to chat and do all that stuff. You get the steam achievements too I think. Not sure if you'll get the Live ones. But I'm not much of an achievement whore anyways.

Some people don't really like steam as they find it just to be another DRM.

Fallout 3 had 5 killer DLC story add-ons.
Can you imagine the DLC for New Vegas? I hope they will have the Ninja armour again.

i'll just wait for the PS3 GOTY version with all the DLC's that'll come out probably in a year..

i bought the ps3 GOTY for Fallout 3 and I didn't even finish 10% of that game yet lol

Just picked up the last of two copies for PS3 at EB coquitlam! Now have to wait until work is over...:(

looks kinda glitchy.

one thing i didnt like about the 3rd was when someone goes through a door, the door doesnt open, they just appear.
