i had an old Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers... honestly, the most amazing sound came from them - big sound stage, super clear... Altec Lansing FX6021
I bought them used on Ebay for around $80 equivalent, and they were worth every penny.

those were my dream speakers as a kid, I always wanted those
they discontinued so i bought the ones pictured above, amazing sound eh, can really blast when you need them to.
and the highs are crisp!
i have a total of 3 2.1 sets from them  | |

the only thing the reliability, i have a friend who has some of the channels not functioning
but those are pretty good 5.1's for the price
i saw them for ~60 before

Is any of those speakers are good enough to recommend for TV?
I want to add external speakers into my tv to get clear sound.

BUT, they are expensive for a 2.1
BUT, they sound amazing. Try playing some instrumental music on them and put the volume on high, it's really different from any other speakers I've used.

if you are looking for edifier. the dealer is in richmond.
few years ago i bought my 2.1 system from them for $30 .. retail at ncix/other small shops on bridgeport was around 40-50ish.. from what i remember
back then, they were cash only - not sure about now...
