Anyone know where I can get Parafilm M locally?

http://vwrlabshop.com/parafilm-m/p/0014239/

thanks............

Try Fischer Scientific.

Called them. They have no retail store here in Vancouver. Having the item shipped costs too much. 15 bucks for 125 foot roll, which is cheap, but shipping is 25+ bucks.

thanks anyway.........

Anyone else know where to get some locally?

keifun 10-15-2010 12:54 PM

I don't even know of a place that sells it locally.

I work in a lab and we get parafilm and all the other lab supplies from the US.

I need a Riding Mower and have a tough time paying retail for just about anything. Anyone got a hook up or know anyone out there who is selling or refurbs them?

TIA.

Where abouts are you?

Diamond Bar Equipment in Aldergrove, if you're out that way.

^ S. Surrey, but I'll drive anywhere within an hour or so if it'll save me enough dough.

If you don't mind Craftsman, Sears has those things on sale quite often. Super Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Check on-line for prices

Hah. Been so long since I've been in a lab.

How about Anachemia?

Your best bet for a ride on lawn mower is cragistlist. This time of year you will find better deals on them since it's winter and people will sell them now and will upgrade in the spring.

Is this for your modeling hobby?

if so you could just go to Michaels and pick up some Frisket Film (basically the same thing) you can get a low-tack version too

if not you'd probably have to call all the medical/chemical lab supply stores and ask but then you'd likely have to buy in bulk (more so if you call a plastics company)

anachemia has been posted but there's also http://www.caltechservices.com/ etc

Where can I find desk-mounted monitor (lcd) arms, locally? Monoprice has them, but shipping them costs as much as the item.

Yes, it is for my model building. Frisket film doesn't stretch or seal liquids. I'm planning on using it to cover the airbrush cup, so shit doesn't spill out by accident. Also for masking clear plastic, like a plane's cockpit.

3731 North Fraser Way - Unit 100

I work here and we have an extensive collection of anime and manga. We also carry almost all Blu-Rays and a significant amount of DVD's.

Where can I get that film that people put on their cars to keep the body paint from getting scratched while you work on other stuff, like installing car audio or custom upholstering, etc. It's temporary and can be taken off without any damage to surface. Kinda like a huge ass frisket film that StylinRed pointed out.

Locally, of course. I can get the stuff on eBay and whatnot, but..........
