Had to call BCAA again. Blew Rad hose (hopefully), While being towed , tow truck has an ecu malfunction and ecu blows up. Another tow truck comes, to tow the truck and my car, hydraulics seize, waits for tow truck driver to get a flatbed. Somehow hydraulics managed to unseize itself. Had trouble getting vehicle off the truck. Has some damage (not their fault, considering the circumstances). Finally get towed back to surrey. And I have a Econ midterm tomorrow which I was studying for using an emergency flare because the battery died in the truck. I still love BCAA, dispite what happened. They also have the nicest and most knowledgable drivers around. |
bcaa is people's saviours and buster is the devil. |
for those who r interest in becoming a member. they are having a promotion. 20 gas card or a free entertainment book plus ten bones off the membership. is the book worth it? |
Depends how often you visit the local attractions...dine out..etc I would say just get the $20 gas card and use it. |

BCAA is fantastic! I've only used my membership once for a flat tire, but I've used it several times for friends and my brother uses it at least once a month. Well worth the piece of mind, I'll definitely be renewing my membership every year. |
I've jumped into my car in the morning, in a rush to get to work, only to discover the battery dead. Twice! Both times, it turns out I had set the interior lights to ON rather than AUTO (would turn off after a few minutes), so they were on overnight. BCAA came by in the morning within 15 minutes of my trouble call to give me a boost. No complaints with BCAA! |
http://www.news1130.com/news/local/a...l-drop-you-off Now you dont have to do anything to your car and you can still call bcaa for towing services... Only once a year though... |
Once a year if you admit the reason why you can't drive, yes. If you pull a fuse so your car won't start, then you can use it many times a year. |

most of the time my experience with BCAA is a good one, however i've been dissapointed with them a few times.. first of all the dispatches are bitchy and dont really feel like helping you. the only ones that are actually geniune are the people that come to rescue you. i had a bad verbal experience with one of the tow truck drivers before. I called bcaa to see if they could tow my car (non-emergency) from my shop back to my home. I agreed to any cost that may apply. The tow truck driver took 4 hours. I waited for him for that long. When he came he told me we are not a hauling around uninsured junk (not trying to be a snob, but my bmw is not junk!) and basically told me he didnt want anything to do with me. I was crazy pissed after all the time i wasted waiting for this asshole and that he just "refuses" to tow my car. At first I was calm and was telling him how i waited and agreed to any fees that may apply, then he told me to "read his lips" then he said "No!". I then told him to fuck off and that he was useless. This tow truck driver was a pretty husky caucasian male, but im sure there's a few of them on the squad. |
