The commute from Burnaby to Coq was fine, no issues. Just a few slow drivers in the left lanes. It took the usual 20-25 mins.

East Van to Richmond no issues this morning at all. One of my easier commutes actually. Longest part was cleaning snow and ice off my car for 20 min this morning :P

this is true. 1/4 of our office is empty because of this. getting daycare is tough these days, let alone at the last minute, so many parents did not show up.

Gotta say, i'm loving it when people stay home. I got snows on the corolla but they're pretty bald. They suck at speeds in the corners, but I must say they're amazing when needing that slow speed grip. Cant really get performance out of the tires, but just cruising around town they do wonders..

People should be prepared by now. People at my work on Friday were expecting early off's, but that didn't happen. The first few snowfalls we got EO's which was great, but I think after a couple weeks you should be ready for any snowfall. I'm glad the city's were able to keep up with keeping the streets clean.

Our daycare called us at 6pm Sunday to let us know it would be closed today. That isn't a lot of time to make arrangements for Monday morning.

They dont feel like working today.
Schools are open, roads are plowed. I see no reason why they have to close

Schools typically take students from around the neighbourhood - i.e. they don't have to travel very far. I'm not sure if that applies to daycares.
