I don’t care so much about the weight. But last year they had a sale where if you bought all 4 they had like 150 bucks off…. Maybe I’d wait for that again

Ideally if cc2s were available for my 19s I’d buy them. But Costco says the only tires for my hitlerbox was performance tires (yuck) or real winter tire (stupid). I have to go down to 18s to get on my favourite cc2s

Took a peak outside last night and saw the super clear sky. Amazing.

Snow is barely sticking in Coquitlam..

Mikoyan 02-02-2025 10:18 AM

15 cm and still coming down in east van.

MG1 02-02-2025 10:30 AM

ah, the joys of owning a house.................... I so wanted to stay in bed playing online games. Fuck, so cold outside. Two of my three children are in a condo that has all that shit looked after. I have to shovel the neighbour's property, too. Dude is even older than I am. I see him shovelling, too, once in a while. I will shovel snow until placed in a care home. Oh well, time to stretch a bit before going out there. Once I get going, it's always fun, believe it or not. Weird............... like being a kid again.

out here in the burbs where its usually colder and snows more, it's actually pretty mild. im only seeing about 2-3cm on the ground and the snow has pretty much stopped for now?

MG1 02-02-2025 12:38 PM

^wut............

Got a bit more here in North Burnaby.

I love my larger than average............... driveway (insert mike in there).

Butt, not on days like today. I covered some of it, because the actual garage is my storage and workshop. I forgot to park the Ridgeline under cover. Getting snow off that thing is crazy with the roof rack the way it is. I parked the daily under the covered area. Should have switched cars. I don't want to be that guy who doesn't remove the snow from the roof and only leaves a slit in the front windshield to see out of. Fuck, I hate assholes like that. Anyway, front and back all shovelled and salted. Feeling good. Will go out and have some fun.

Horseshit amount in Richmond. Utterly lame ….

BIC_BAWS 02-02-2025 02:03 PM

This snow sucks. I didn't even have to shovel. It melted LOL.

It almost seems like we reverted back to regular Vancouver weather.

pastarocket 02-02-2025 03:19 PM

-took 45 minutes to shovel snow off my driveway today. Workout is done haha.

If any of you are in or planning on being in the Lougheed and Brunette Hwy, use extreme caution. I've never seen so many Teslas on the side of the road. More on Lougheed than a dealership. It's black ice. I'm glad I took the Ridgeline today. The little EV is good in the snow, but if it ever gets hit, it's good night Irene.

On the way there, it was hailing with freezing rain (pellets). On the way back was the result of bad driving and no snow tires.

It would have been nice to see a Cybertruck, so I could laugh my freezin' ass off...........

What do ya guys think? Winter Driving Tips link? or not needed.

Too lazy to find it. Someone else can............

One time I helped some ill-prepared Tesla driver up a hill, he was hella ungrateful, never helping anyone again lol.

yray 02-02-2025 08:12 PM

not as bad as pushing my coworker out, and he tells me he forgot the ebrake lol

Gerbs 02-02-2025 08:28 PM

Seems like most of the snow is already gone

What if the cc2 you wanted were made in USA and got hit with tariffs, would you buy something else?

westopher 02-03-2025 07:05 AM

You'd never have to worry about good tires being made in the US so that's kind of irrelevant.
No one has brand loyalty to good year.
