Quite a bit in White Rock. City did not send any trucks out or do any salting. This morning they just barricaded some of the hills and called it a day

fsy82 02-03-2025 07:58 AM

my kids were upset that they didnt get a snow day..lol

MarkyMark 02-03-2025 08:02 AM

Man I woke up to a winter wonderland in Langley took me 15 minutes to brush my truck off. By the time I got to New West it didn't even look like it snowed at all.

Badhobz 02-03-2025 08:21 AM

Everything is frozen over and icy as fuck

North Delta here, I got nothing LOL. Maybe 1cm? I didn't even shovel. It melted.

Pretty disappointing. Now that I WFH, I wanted to watch the 13 hour ordeal FROM THE SIDELINES for once.

Broke out the electric snow blower and cleared 2 car driveway in 30 mins without killing my back.

Used the leaf blower to clear off 60/80% of the snow on the minivan before clearing the remainder with a brush.

Ain't got no time for the Costco Return line.

bcrdukes 02-03-2025 11:10 AM

I think there will be a parking lot fight between you two in the foreseeable future :alone:

Single garage and we're still a 2 car household.

-working at the office today. The commute to work was pretty fast. -15 minute drive from my home in east Van to downtown. Michelin X-Ice winter tires did their job.

-must be plenty of people working from home today. Traffic towards downtown is very light. Plenty of parking in the downtown parkades haha.

The side streets are icy for sure. Main roads are fine. -had to drive a bit slower while going down hilly areas on Seymour Street in downtown.

Qmx323 02-04-2025 07:17 AM

Shocking well handled by my "Don't sue me" 6 year old Goodyear All-Weathers, even somewhat packed but dry neighborhood snow was pretty tame.

The one time I prefer FWD versus RWD lol...

But yeah no chance I'm going to any hilly areas

N.V.M. 02-04-2025 11:03 AM

How are the roads today? Any trouble roaming around with CC2's?

dark0821 02-05-2025 11:18 AM

at least from Burnaby to Richmond was smooth sailing, nothing left on the big roads at all, the only annoyance is that you get alot of 30 to 40KM/hr people that are on the wrong tires.

But I left 30min earlier than my usual and it was fine. I can listen to my music and just chill lololol
