snow? :sleepy:

Frustrating. Although I do not enjoy driving in snow/slush in my daily commute, my winter tires are seemingly going to waste for a second year in a row.

Still quite a bit of January and all of February to go through still, so I suppose we could still see something happen.

Winter tires work better than all seasons under 6 degrees celsius, even if roads are bare. Tires are made to be worn. Keep them on.

Drove upto seymour today, was snowing like crazy and didn't see any plow trucks = super fun! Saw a couple guys (Stuck, obviously) who drove up there in rwd BMW's and a lincoln town car ... what the hell were they thinking? No snows either...

Also was a fair amount of snow @ sfu earlier today (around 10am) ... turned to rain though and when I went back about 45 minutes ago it was all gone :(

TOS'd 01-05-2011 05:12 PM

^ did you go snowboarding? how was it.

was all powder which is good because I'm newb and fell a LOT.

First time going seymour and upper parking lot was filled with stuck cars. Was a good 6-8 inches of fresh powder on the parking lot when I arrived and around a foot when I left.

I also went tubing, which was more rewarding for me than boarding ... and less painful lol
