Somehow I've never seen this thread. I co-host a weekly EDM radio show broadcast from CHLY 101.7FM in Nanaimo called The Massive. My co-host NoProfit often plays live and we have occasional guest DJs. Search The Massive on iTunes if you want to check it out, we have a free podcast on there.
I've only started DJing a bit over the winter, kinda saving to get some gear.
I've been a party and nightclub promoter in the EDM scene on the island for a few years. I used to have so much gear stacked in my place when I was doing club nights, but never had the time to practice. A set of tech12s, a set of stantons, Vestax mixer, CDJ1000MK3s, lots of stuff I packed back and forth for each night.

right now i have... The headphone doesnt work when i plug it into the controller or the laptop
Input: non
output: headphones (master:left chan/headphones: right chanel)
soundcard: mono separated (bcd3000)
for some reason this doesnt sync with Traktor either

lol thats why change the sound card to a different one forgot which one it is but maybe asio fiddle with it im not sure anymore i havnt touched vdj in like 4 years lol

.... FIDDLE AROUND WITH IT -_- i forgot which one u choose but keep changing it till it works but dont keep it on mono lol and then u change out put to sound card 1 and headphones to the midi controller
edit: or was it input hell just change the settings in those till it works lol

As for your headphones not working try different software or re install your drivers.

Really have been wanting to jump into this just for kicks!
I just wanted help in the right direction, just starting out and I really just want to just make some mixes at home and when friends come over or house parties, nothing too intense. Hercules RMX DJ Console Numark Total Computer DJ In a Box Numark IDJ3
Need to choose one of these maybe? Don't want to invest heavily into this right away until I know I really enjoy it.
