I finally managed to successfully flash my Nexus S to CM7!! but probably spent like 1/2hr or more trying to troubleshoot a problem why the recovery image wasn't sending to the phone.. tried another USB port and voila it worked

phone is much more responsive now

It was completely stock (just tried LiveOC now!)
NSCollab 1.0.50 with franco Nov8 kernel CFS.
1000/400 with Lazy governor setting and screenoff_maxfreq enabled for deep idle.
On KD1 radio since I seem to like that the best for reception.

Plain boring/simple home screen and lockscreen (will post pictures once I find a free site to upload to).

As for LiveOC setting... I finally figured out why my phone keeps crashing... It's because I kept messing with the max ARM voltage so I finally left it alone and just used 110 with the same voltage as franco and then going from there.

lol. There probably isn't much you can do to improve battery life is you're constantly using it. So have you ever tried using NHLGameCentreLive to stream games with your phone overclocked? I've tried to do it a few times last night and it keeps crashing! It works perfectly fine when it's stock tho... I've only set it to 110 too.

battery life is so much better than when I was using stock rom, my phone would die in like 12-14hrs. now 21hrs+ with the same kind of usage, music streaming, fb, messaging, youtubing etc

not sure why the phone gained some power at 2 different parts in the graph.

I used to use the Conservative governor and switched to Lazy after reading this. Holy smokes, what a huge difference! I didn't even touch any other settings.

Just updated to Francos kernel. However when I try to edit my cpu settings I can only do this in the CM settings. Am I supposed to download LiveOC as well?

double edit: Just realized LIve OC is included with Franco's kernel. Just dont know how to edit it :|

NSTools is a GUI based config app for EZEKEEL MODS
I use SetCPU to set governor/voltages

I also manually run screenoff_maxfreq

Is anyone using franco kernel 11/17 and getting black screen of death? It's been a while I got it with the franco kernel.

Does anyone also feel that the 11/6 and 11/8 were better than the recent ones in terms of stability and battery life?

I've been using the CFS version as well and I'm probably going to try the BFS version sometime this weekend.

Yea I've got a few black screen of death with 11/17 and it seems like the color temperature of the screen has been tweaked to a blue-ish tint.

The last kernel I used was 11/08 and it was seemed to be more stable and had better battery life.
