Loooking sick with the trailer.

I think it is Unicron. The face does have a striking resemblance to Alpha Trion, but the helmet on the head is orange, a la Unicron.

also notice, in the trailer, how they pan into his eyes to reveal more moving mechanical parts inside that transformer. that is very reminiscent of the original introduction scene of Unicron in the original animated movie.

+1 for alpha trion, if its unicron thats gonna disappoint a shit load of fans.

Major disappointment if that's Unicron. Keep in mind that Unicron is A BIG MOTHER FUCKER! If they tie him into the story, they better concentrate on him for the movie.

I guess it would make sense if it was Unicron considering the title makes it sound like there should be a villain on the moon. The movie has always been a disappointment, and I wouldn't be surprised if they toned down Unicron for this movie. Just look how loosely they used The Fallen.

Oh man all this talk has got me watching the Animated Series again. Just wondering does the original animated series (1984-1987) follow the same arc as the Marvel US comics and does one or the other go into more detail? I've never read the comics.
