Great action, great cg, great humor at times
but as always, storyline was weak

carisear 07-01-2011 10:44 PM

Spoiler!

MelonBoy 07-01-2011 11:34 PM

fsy82 07-02-2011 09:26 PM

i wonder how its going to turn out if they make more, cause i heard michael bay isn't coming back?

Simulated 07-03-2011 09:25 AM

shia is confirmed not coming back for transformers 4. to be honest given how the movie series have been, i'd rather they just stop it and reboot it down the road.

FN-2199 07-03-2011 09:49 AM

^ Well when he does shit like this, I wouldn't be surprised.

dasani604 07-04-2011 06:22 AM

there's a lot of similarities between this movie and Battle LA lol, but nonetheless I still enjoyed this one over the first 2

hotjoint 07-04-2011 10:07 AM

Watched it last night, loved it

ProShift 07-04-2011 10:26 AM

Did anyone else think they used way too much slow motion? and what the hell was the FPS part for like 3secs. I dunno Michael Bay should learn some new tricks or just let JJ Abrams direct the next one

BaoTurbo 07-04-2011 04:21 PM

Ok movie. Idk why i thot it was only ok, i guess cuz there wasnt much involvment between the humans and the cybertrons and the humans had to wait for the moment where its robot vs robot or its unfair most of the times.

2 n r 07-04-2011 05:45 PM

The original transformers did not revolve around humans as much as this series of movies has. I actually like the idea of focusing more on the bots than the human race. Bring mutha fucking unicron!!!!

This movie > Previous transformer movies.

All this means is that it wasn't bad.

I liked to stare at the girl in this movie.

Ronin 07-04-2011 07:35 PM

One of the best looking and stupidest movies I've ever seen.

ajei 07-04-2011 09:36 PM

i thought the fighting cgi scenes were too numerous, and lasted too long...too the point i was itching to leave...

nubtub 07-04-2011 10:19 PM

According to IGN, Bay and his team have explained away the use of the recycled footage as the result of an accident on set in which a tow-cable snapped, hitting film extra Gabriella Cedillo and resulting in a serious head injury, leaving her paralysed. In October, it was reported that Cedillo was suing Transformers producers over the incident, which resulted in her being airlifted to hospital via helicopter.

Sad story behind it.

Ronin 07-05-2011 05:26 AM

It was like Michael Bay took every movie he's ever made and mashed them all together.

There were SHOT FOR SHOT scenes from The Rock, Armageddon, Bad Boys, etc.

agreed. especially a not so important scene

StylinRed 07-05-2011 04:25 PM

thought it was alright

Spoiler!

the length was a bit much

the script was a bit unbearable

but all in all it felt like it was as good as the other 2 (the other 2 did some things better than this one and vice versa)

Leonard Nimoy was pimmmmmp

and the line near the ending with Prime saying "we shall see"

Spoiler!

3D sucked it was nicer than other movies (where he used it) but there was nothing 3D about it... seemed like he mainly just used it to give some depth to the picture... wasn't needed

Ronin 07-05-2011 07:00 PM

I thought the 3D was great. Spielberg did some quality control and made sure it was up to par. It wasn't quite 3D in the way that Avatar is 3D but still, probably the best use of 3D in movies since Avatar.

But that's not saying much. All other movies that aren't Avatar are bullshit post processing 3D to cash grab at stupid Americans that don't know better or goddamn kids movies.
