Fugly

I heard a very good description of how they came up with the new Transformers designs. It looks like someone dragged a giant magnet through a junkyard, and whatever came up was the Transformers design :lol

I know, I have a few Revoltechs of my own, including the one I posted, the Ultra Magnus version, Megatron, and Star Scream. I love the old designs, they have so much character. The new ones are just retarded. Any one of them could be any character you can imagine, they all just look like a bunch of shit is thrown together to make them use as many polygons as possible...

I watched Tranformers 3 today, and I have mixed feelings about it.

I kinda liked it, but I think I enjoyed the 2nd movie more.

Terrible fucking movie. After TF2 I promised myself I would never see another Transformer movie. Than I see interview of Shia admitting that movie was terrible, so I think, well maybe it's better this time?

Fool me once shame on you, feel me twice, shame on me. TF3 had the same shit humour, dragged out crap story, and cliches up the ying yang as TF2 did. I was actually getting pissed off in the theater, but I didn't want to waste my ticket by walking out.

I want to say never again, but this is the last of the series, LOL.

nope. I pretty sure just KIDS was not their target audience when making this movie.

Also, Toy Story movies were kid movies yet they managed to pull through.

Also, Batman is also supposed to be a kids. And look at Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

You're right...kids aren't just the target audience.

You also have nerds that have high expectations of kids movies too.

They showed off Megan Fox's body by dressing her in revealing outfits (short shorts, tiny t-shirts).

They showed off Rosie's body by dressing her in fashionable outfits (mostly dresses).

Rosie > Megan

It's not marketed to kids. It wasn't filmed with kids in mind. The source material for Transformers is for kids, sure...but that's like saying The Dark Knight is just like Batman: The Animated Series.

And it's hard to get emotionally invested when all you're thinking during the movie is "Whoa...that was a big explosion." and "Goddammit this movie is retarded."

Just watched it.

Wow.

Period.
