Dear Customer:

Your order has been processed, but the item(s) on the order are currently out-of-stock at the pick-up branch you specified.

God damnit NCIX.

Mr.HappySilp 01-03-2011 08:21 PM

^^ same thing happen to me at NCIX. Order all the parts for a computer and I am 100% sure when i order themt here are still 10+ stocks (according to their inventory) on Dec 25 10. I call them last Wednesday and Friday to make sure everything is in stock and I would get my PC on time according to their 8 to 10 business day policy. On Friday Evening I got an E-mail saying the RAM I order is out of stock. I was like WTF. I call on the same day a few hours earlier to check and they told me everything is there. Anyways E-mail them back to get another set of RAM and to ask them to look into this matter.

Got an E-mail today saying the new RAM I order is in stock but did not even mention anything about the incident. My system is expected to be done by Jan 12 11 and I have them make sure everything is still on schedule. Not sure what I will do if it is being delay again lol. Maybe I will just cancle the whole order and go somewhere else. Most rep I talk to at NCIX seems to have this cocky attitude towards their customer for some reason.

I didn't post this on RFD when I found out about it on boxing day because the RFD effect will take over the store but someone posted it yesterday on RFD

It said right on the page (at least for me) that the stock numbers listed basically don't apply for Boxing Week sales...

i'm looking around for 40-55 tv's and so far its all been pretty disappointing.
i'm hoping something pops up tmr but as it stands right now, bb and fs sales are pathetic, i've seen better prices during other times of the year.

StylinRed 12-25-2014 05:33 PM

I noticed some things cost more now than they did before boxing day.... -_-

like the new dyson vacuum is $50 more now

also the computer parts that i pricematched before christmas are still more expensive today by at least $20

Consider Openbox.ca TVs - Openbox.ca - Lowest prices in Vancouver

Gh0stRider 12-25-2014 08:21 PM

Buy the Seiki 39 Class 4K 2160p 120Hz UHDTV at TigerDirect.ca
if you dont mind a reputable chinese brand
you might be able to run 4K decently at 24p/30p...otherwise I believe it's good for 1080p/120

Mr.HappySilp 12-25-2014 10:22 PM

Nothing to get -_- need to start saving for Engagement ring......

Hondaracer 12-25-2014 10:38 PM

I bought my Sony XBR55X850 for Boxing Day price of $1799 last week. Futureshop manager gave me the Boxing Day price if I bought that day.

If anyone looking for a nice 4K TV I highly recommend it, wrote a little review over I. The computer tech section.

Yep. I was just looking to buy a PS Plus ps4 1 year card. Bought 2 last year when they were $29. Thought they'd be on sale every boxing day, guess not. I can hold out till next year, hopefully they'll have something by then

KDMofo 12-25-2014 11:13 PM

So amped on my 6 Hour shift at a Skateshop tomorrow then 10 Hours at Futureshop. Boxing day... whoooo.

Tone Loc 12-25-2014 11:14 PM

lol not bad, came across some tv called "Changhong" which was supposedly pretty good but its not at its lowest price

found a 55" rca tv from visions for $500 all in. is it worth it? anyone ever own rca's?
it's a pretty known albeit lowend brand but ive never had one.
my dad had one as a bedroom tv and i think its still kicking after all these years.
this'll be a living room tv but i hardly have the time these days so it's probably gonna see ~25 hours a week.
there's random brands like element that's pretty cheap but i'm pretty reluctant
