Bought this one myself: Samsung 58" 1080p 60Hz LED Smart TV (UN58H5202AFXZC) - Black : LED TVs - Future Shop

They had 80 in stock I believe. 8 left as of this posting. Same deal at Walmart website which is where I bought it. Not sure if they still have any left.

I'd stay away from brands like RCA, Element, and etc. You really aren't saving that much and I have seen quite a large number of negative reviews on those TVs.

I'm not a boxing day guy at all but went this morning when they opened and grabbed a set, no line lots of stock, they had the larger sets on sale as well but didn't need it. I also grabbed a cordless drill, lent mine to my mom and never got the charger or second battery back (she packed them by accident when they were moving 2000 km away.......... lol

Good timing since that drill (I'm assuming Bosch) is cheaper now than on Black Friday. I'm glad the CT by my house is usually well stocked and isn't packed full of inconsiderate patrons.

Definitely a good price for this set. I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have gone overboard and spent over twice that for the Stanley FatMax 229 piece set. It's freakin' huge and definitely not as portable...

What!? Which version? And from where?

I just got my new AS100 a month ago. I really want to grab the new action cam mini.

For anyone wondering I prefer sony's action cam over both go-pro, and the contour I used to have.

I now have 3 of sony's action cams, and they are as a whole package, better than go-pro's offerings, and infinitely more mountable due to the better orientation.

look into one of these instead. cheaper, more durable and a lot smaller then gopro's. www.replayxd.com

Edit, forgot to post the damn link.

The only thing I hate is the case it comes in. Very difficult to get pieces in and out as the plastic doesn't have a lot of elasticity.

Not sure if the regular Stanley stuff has the same issue or not, but wouldn't be surprised.

That doesn't look like a doorcrasher price to me.

Sony HDRAS20 Waterproof/Shockproof Compact POV Action Cam : Action & Helmet Cameras - Best Buy Canada
Still ample stock as of last night but it was depleted quickly.

US Boxing Day had it for $75 after AMEX credit + 16GB card so this was meh by that standard

Sony Store US still has it for few bucks more and it comes with a 64GB card
Compact POV action cam - All Action Cam Sony Store - Sony US

I have no need for one but pocketable zeiss lens design + NFC/Wifi was too good to pass up at $99. I only wishit had my a6000's 11 fps bursts on it...I would probably use that feature more on an action cam.

What makes you say it's easier to mount? The POV effect is nicer on a helmet but on the chest the shape of the cam is presumably bulkier/more awkward? I do like that it's significantly lighter.

Can you recommend any non-helmet mount that you use regularly? I have discounts to PD's capture POV but i feel it's more geared towards GP than Sony.

Is it pretty usable without the housing? The lens scratches easily without it?

What's a good program to easily create time lapse? Sorry for the barrage of questions.

It sure doesn't, all 4K action cams are $350+

Araaadi 12-26-2014 08:46 PM

Got 12 months xbox live directly off my xbox for 47.99.
Got a 3DS XL + $50 amazon giftcard for $150 taxes in from amazon a couple days ago.
Went around coquitlam centre today with intentions to spend money but couldn't even find one good deal.

6o4__boi 12-26-2014 08:55 PM

haha same!
i was pretty ready to open up my wallet for any good deals but all i bought was a jar of peanuts LOL
maybe i woke up late but even on the out of stock items i thought i saw better deals on black friday.

i guess next year i should buy what i want on black friday instead of boxing day
in some cases i noticed some stores purposely bumped up the prices on items that were "50%" off

which really pisses me the fuck off as a consumer...do these people think we're stupid or something. I'm asian, can't fucking fool me when it comes to prices. I know how much shit was, is and will ever be when it goes on sale.

SpeedStars 12-26-2014 09:23 PM

There was a parking lot fire at metro food court lot today :derp:
