To the lake, is a Russian post apocalyptic series, it's about a virus, no zombies, but the show is very much like the walking dead

The English dub is pretty good too, so you don't need to worry about subtitles if that's a thing for ya

And Hubie Halloween is classic Adam Sandler, with a ton of actors from all his previous movies appearing in it (not just the usual guys)

That's saying a lot knowing that Little Nicky and Jack and Jill exist. He has 4 timeless classics and the rest are junk.

I watched it last night and the thermos and random item tossing on his bike were worth the watch. Fun to see the characters from his past films and some known actors also from previous films but holy shit was his accent completely retarded. Borderline unbearable.

I only saw the first three seasons of Sons of Anarchy so I am enjoying the rest. What a ride.

We recently enjoyed Followers, the Japanese drama about the modeling/acting industry. Very nice looking show in 4K HDR, and some of the characters were easy to root for, with many having natural charisma that make you want to follow and see more

Just think, Netflix is paying him over 50 million a move..... lol that's nuts.

Don't get me wrong I like a lot of his movies, I also hate a lot of his movies. I don't know if there is any actor I have a more love/hate opinion about.

Just finished Queen's Gambit yesterday. Very well done, and best of all, it's a 7 episode series that actually ends; which is a rarity nowadays.

Queens Gambit was great. I'm not exactly a chess fanatic so I went into this without any expectations but it turned out to be an excellent show.

Finally finished the second season of You. Didn't expect the season to end that way - what a twist!

I think I will start Queens Gambit based on everyone's reviews.

The Social Dilemma

a 90min documentary about how technology, social media, and fake news is negatively impacting everyone, especially the younger generation. Does explain why people are anti maskers, dont believe in covid, rigging of elections ect. I enjoyed it

just finished Dark.

talk about mentally exhausting.

it should have been 18 episodes rather than 24.

it went from excellent to good by the time it ended.

Watched Alice in Borderland in 2 sittings. Normally not a fan of Japanese live-action as it gets too uncanny but this one actually balanced things quite well. Plot just kept going and going. Seeing how they made the streets of Tokyo absolutely empty was shockingly well-done, still leaves me scratching my head.

I believe it was filmed a little before pre-pendemic Tokyo, but yeah it was amazing to see so many historical areas of Tokyo empty. I ended up finishing season 1 and read the entire manga.

Just finished watching Away. Highly recommend it if you're into space exploration. 9/10
A little disappointed that Netflix didn't renew the show for another season.

I also just started Alice in Borderline. I knew nothing about the manga but hot damn it is INTENSE!... it went from 0 to 60 in a span of 10 minutes lol ...
I'm about halfway, it's like a random mix of Saw + Battle Royale + Ready Player One

Curious about which point, maybe vaguely reference it. I don't recall any super tearjerking moments off the top of my head.

Agreed, it lights off like a rocket and it just keeps givin and givin.
