Can we be friends in real life? Since only your friends win.

TheDailySteal 02-28-2011 05:26 PM

Yes we can be real friends =)

TheDailySteal 02-28-2011 05:30 PM

And for those who are wondering, we do not hand pick our winners.

We use the List Randomizer from Random.org to choose our winners.

invader 02-28-2011 07:18 PM

Question about my credits.
Will i be able to use 100% of it to buy deals or will they be limited to a certain amount?

TheDailySteal 02-28-2011 07:43 PM

Are you referring to the amount of credit allowed per deal?

murd0c 02-28-2011 07:50 PM

yes what will the amount be or a %?

TheDailySteal 02-28-2011 08:13 PM

There are actually no set amount or %. There will be a different amount allowed per deal. Most of them will not have a limit, but some will.

murd0c 02-28-2011 08:14 PM

So when are these deals starting?

truth 03-02-2011 03:07 PM

not surprised that there is a lack of response when asked when the deals will materialize

Amuse 03-02-2011 03:35 PM

It took so fast to reach 9000 members, but so long to reach 10000.

TheDailySteal 03-02-2011 07:36 PM

We have yet to set a launch date as things are still being finalized.

If we become friends in real life, will you make sure that my name wins on the randomizer :)?

xmisstrinh 03-03-2011 12:20 PM

can you please provide a concrete date for an official launch?

people will have a date to look forward to and members will appear to be less neglected

dinamix 03-03-2011 12:22 PM

Ripoff spam

They deleted all the negative comments on FB. Horrible management.

adambomb 03-03-2011 01:21 PM

The daily steal... stealing your shit, one day at a time. :speechless:

Just for references, Its 2:28pm on March 3, 2011.

Dailysteal says there are 9509 current members. Let's see if it goes up or down, since there have been promises of ipads at the 10,000 mark.

If you were going to delay launch or make changes to the business plan... INFORM THE CUSTOMER. Leaving them in the dark like this screams of a scam (which it probably is at this point).

jmvdesign 03-03-2011 02:25 PM

What's even more annoying is how they have the audacity to come on here and keep saying the deals are still coming. Like dude, that was 2 months ago. If this company had any integrity they would come back here with the actual and final product/service up and running. They're just egging us on like we're a bunch of fucking idiots.

Greenstoner 03-03-2011 02:32 PM

just a suggestion to RS mod

im hoping they can screeen who they use for sponsor

i know in reality probably money comes first but its sponsr like Dailysteal ruining the rep for future sponsors on this board.

flagella 03-03-2011 02:46 PM

mods have already been bribed by dailysteal dudes LOL.

El Bastardo 03-03-2011 03:17 PM

I've been a mod for years and I've never gotten any bribes :(

Anyway, just to play Devil's Advocate here: I haven't gotten any spam or any sort of outfall from releasing my information to Daily Steal.

I haven't had any benefits from being a member either. I got a little credit (which I can't use, no deals). But it hasn't hurt me any.

Everyone is ravenous and waiting for those iPads but they have given away literally thousands of dollars in prizes so far, including that Florida vacation and Katy Perry tickets. Its not like they're dangling a non-existent carrot on stick here.

Relax.

And as for deleting negative Facebook comments? Wouldn't you do it? I know I delete remarks I don't want hanging around on my Facebook. At the end of the days these guys are a business and want to keep their public page as clean as possible.

I'm no shill for Daily Steal, I'm completely indifferent to them actually, but I do want to offer a different perspective to this situation.

Jegz 03-03-2011 03:59 PM

Will be at 9000 members forever

Culverin 03-03-2011 04:25 PM

Why shouldn't I un-like the FB page?

There's no incentive for this to be on my page and dirty up my profile is there?
