So you have to keep deleting it? Is there no way to turn off BIS permanently?

If you've ever had this problem (specific to BIS) please post your IP address here. You can check just by googling what is my ip.

ICS/HoneyComb/etc... on the Playbook are just themes/launchers. Android on the Playbook is 2.3.3 (Gingerbread)

can anyone help me, my playbook keeps on connecting and the disconnecting every 30 seconds to the wifi at home. I have a d-link 615 router and everything else connects no problem ie. iphone/laptop. I've tried googling it but still no solution yet, can someone give me a suggestion? thanks!

it's so frustrating not being connected to wifi consistantly!

PBs don't play nice with certain routers.

Try swapping to WEP or update to DD-WRT. These seem to generally solve the cycling issue. Otherwise, consider buying a different router. FYI, I've never had any connection issues with my Linksys.

No definite solution. It's a little better if:

1. You configured your router to G or B only mode instead of mixed or N.

2. Try WEP or WPA.

haha 615 is your first problem.

try connecting to someone else's wifi and see what happens first.

yeah, i tried wep and wpa, no luck, and switched up the G, B, N,

i'll try someone elses wifi and if there's no problem with that, I'll buy a new router, any suggestions? nothing too expensive but will work with the playbook?

Thanks all!
