I haven't been there in a while but didn't they have $1 chicken and rice at one time? I know they have the roasted pork and rice as well (but I'm guessing that was $2) Last time I was at Dai Tung (which was over a year ago) two employees got into a heated shouting match - one female and one guy. The restaurant was dead silent for a good 2 minutes after that. Dai Tung (is/used to be) famous for their salted chicken dish. Not sure if it still is today or not. |

^ Just because it's cheap doesn't mean you have to get treated like farm animals. Anyway, How's everyone doing? :) |
are there any all day dimsum spots? I seem to crave in the afternoon. |
best choice is probably t&t lol Posted via RS Mobile |
That should be your last choice Posted via RS Mobile |
i only go to redstar on granville, only cause its 5 minutes walk from my house. so i dont know what you call cheap.. but its good =) |
i havent had a bad experience at dai tung yet, but i can understand why people feel that way. places that push carts are kind of chaotic and since you dont really have servers, all you have is cart pushers to ask for stuff who dont really give a shit. i was at po king a few weeks ago and thought their service was pretty shit. and the tables are just too close together. |
