You left out those but the first thing that came to your mind was ABBA and Ace of Base? You're really going to tell me that ABBA and Ace of Base came to your mind before Pink Floyd, Metallica, Dr.Dre etc?! Doesn't that just mean you favor those artist more because you thought of them first?
My list was in no order at all. When I think of any good music, a huge variety of artists comes up. Just because I mentioned them later does not indicate that those artists are of lesser talent.

Just like hollywood movies, who make money regardless of how they do at the box office, because of all the add-placements that they do.. and we pay for these shitty movies.. and they don't want us to share "illegally"..
I don't download bad music either, and i refuse to listen to this crap.
You should all walk away with at least something good to say about a song after you've heard it.. but hey, I guess it's just easier to "gucci bandana"

Linkin Park is garbage. In fact, Gucci Mane is probably more respected within it's genre than Linkin' Park ever was.

but how can you not think of bands other than linkin park or abba? you arguing good music and comming up with linkin park? all i remember from that band was a rapper and a screamer. nothing too great about it. abba is one of those things where you either like it or dont. so whatever.
but come on. just off the top of my head i can think of artists that could blow them out of the water. for example marvin gaye, curtis mayfeild, james brown, al green, ray charles, stevie wonder, bob marley, the rolling stones, the beatles, the doors, led zepplien etc.
cmon. you cant come up with retarded examples like that.

Abba, Ace of Base, Run DMC, lupe fiasco , common, etc, there are more, many more.. Jay Z, and so on.
Gucci Mane is if you haven't heard good music.
It's too easy to go back in time and pick out the best of certain eras and forget the truly horrible stuff. You know ur getting old when this happens!
When you listen to a lot of music, you dig deep: no shit some of the stuff you listen to aren't going to be classics. If you're not digging hard to find some obscure stuff, ur probably not much of a music fan anyway.
No one will remember who Gucci Mane is in 10 yrs. No one here is pretending otherwise. I'm saying this and I don't even like the guy!

Linkin Park, Abba and Ace of Base do not even BELONG on the list of good music.
The issue isn't that you didn't list enough good bands. The issue is you listed SHITTY bands you think are GOOD.
