guy in Cressida w/ N sign revving his car in front of the Vdubs  |
Good turnout everyone, way more than last year, and the big groups showed up even earlier as well. That tool in the Tiburon backfiring his shit was asking for a ticket. |
good meet! |

good meet over all! some fools revving their not so good sounding engines as if they were V12 or something wasn't too cool though. |
fun fun fun |
Good meet. Am I blind or this year the subaru and mazda3 crew didn't come out at full force? On a side note, when the cop car was cruising in the parking lot checking the meet out. There's this brown kid saying "Hey, Tim Horton's not here, it's that way. HAHAHAHA. You can't give me a ticket cuz my car ain't here!" Please, grow up. Posted via RS Mobile |
Pretty tired right now as I got there at around 9:10 to help with setup but I thought I should post this before I forget. Thank you to everyone who showed up to meet (members, non-rs members, mods, admins, execs). The volunteers that showed up did an amazing job with the traffic control. Also, big props to Tabby for helping out @ the RS tent handling donations and merchandise sales. Special thanks to those who donated to the Japanese Red Cross and those who brought food for the food bank. I apologize for the confusion at the RS tent regarding donations. All donations collected by Revscene will be forwarded directly to the Japanese Red Cross. The other collection box was organized by Brian Jessel Autohaus with the donations going to the Canadian Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Asia Pacific Tsunami fund . Either way, your donation will be to going towards the relief efforts in Japan. |

thats just my opinion, why let them ruin it for the rest of us responsible young adults. |
I told him to stop, that he was ruining it for everyone else, and got called a faggot in return. a word to the driver of the tiburon. i have your license plate number. unless you post a public apology here, i will turn you away from the summer meet. no word of a lie. we don't need your kind ruining our club's reputation. |
And here I thought civic owners would be bad Posted via RS Mobile |
^ All I heard from them was like one or two V-TACKS. That's it. The fact that raid3n got called a faggot just cements how much of a tool the tiburon driver was. |
That CR-Z was pretty loud.. for a Hybrid. lol |
civic owners, and mazda3 owners all have grown up through the scene. though mazda3's are relatively new with only a 2nd gen out now, they all have a fairly loyal and some are of an older crowd. vcc has been around just as long as rs has, and thus respect the meet rules. all are well behaved. there is always one or 2 douche bags every year. this years winner was the tiburon. now dont be going and thinking every tiburon or hyundai owner is a douche, but im sure enough their own club will be pointing out that member themselves... good weather, good meet, good turn out. was it a tibby with a S/C? |
No^. he is not a member on here. Posted via RS Mobile |
I as a Prelude owner, I speak for myself when saying this.. I love car meets and I always obey by the rules and the law. RS puts on some sweet meets. I parked properly, didn't rev my motor and did not play loud music. Infact I can't stand loud music as I have crappy sensitive ears. I have a resonator and a cat so my exhaust doesn't sound like a bubble bee. I respect the rules and always will. But anyways, I apologize on behalf of VPC for those who may have been a bit of out of hand. I cannot control them all. I'm sorry :( Thanks once again for an awesome meet! Do you guys know the total you were able to raise with the donations? |
I wonder what tiburon owner it was, because one of them was kinda an asshole, given it was funny, but still a jerk move.. his hood was popped, so my buddy was looking in at the manifold, and the guy blasted on the horn. Personally it was kinda funny but definately a jerk move that was uncalled for seeing as we didnt know the guy. Who was the tool in the jeep SRT8 that was doing fly-by's from each parking lot..seriously short of exotics, no one wants to here a stock car do 0-60 runs while there is a boat load of people walking and riding bicycles. |

because he's from surrey, "bro, look at me bro...". |
Thank you Revscene for another awesome meet. Sunday well spent. |
Which Tiburon was it? I remember there was a couple Tiburons (an older and a 02+ model). You'd think Hyundai drivers would be more humble... |
