We have no say to the price of gas. We can't just write a complaint about this, I wish it was that easy. They price it, we pay it. Use transit, ride a bike, buy a fuel efficient car or keep paying it.

I try to carpool and take transit when I seriously don't need to use the car.

Actually, it pretty much does cost me $20 to fill up my R6 from empty (but I use 94 octane)

If this were true I wouldn't mind higher gas prices, at least then I could justify it then. Heck, i'd welcome it.
