I understand what he's saying about the relationship between father and son as well. I agree I'd chose my son over a train of strangers everytime. I really don't think that was the message of this video though. The video, bridge operator, son and train full of people were all a metaphor for Christ. Just some Bible thumpers trying to get their message across, nothing more and nothing less......IMHO anyway.
From the post I quoted earlier he seemed like he was flabbergasted that anyone would chose strangers over their blood which wasn't really the message again IMHO.
