^ YLOD still isn't very "common" though. I could see people nuking something like this though, by pausing the game then tossing it in their pocket or whatever.

i dont know if we'll see quadcore phones in 2012..hell i dont think there's even quadcore netbooks yet.
That's also it's a hate and love relationship when it comes to Playstation products...they have crazy specs ahead of its time but at a premium for early adopters...the only time this has really backfired was the common YLOD of PS3 but look at how every playstation console was ahead of its game with the physical formats (CD => DVD => blu-ray) | Dual cores will come out by years end then the Quad cores for sure by 2012. It's not that far off man.

ohh..and i think making that rear touchpad can be a bad idea...you can probably break it easily and you can' just slap on a protective case..maybe a bumper like iphones and screencover.

I think it was awesome for Sony to concentrate on a portable gaming powerhouse rather than the one-thing does it all BS.
I am buying this at launch I think. I mean, this thing, once jailbroken will be a MONSTER on hand.

This thing better get hacked because once it's open to homebrew can you imagine the possibilities this beast can do with the crazy specs it has. For sure it will have Android apps which is a big plus. All it needs a to be able to tether a usb stick or a phone to it.
Can't wait for this.

Hook it up with a 3G plan and you can literally play GT5 with your buddies anywhere. SSF4 too. Well, basically its a PS3 with 3G that fits in your palm. Oh boy I want one NOW!

^ i may finally get into B-Spec lol
for me..GT5 is sim wheel or nothing
i really think this is a sweet gadget but i cant see myself using it a lot..i guess it's why i never bought a handheld gaming console before.
i wouldn't bring it when i go out because that will make me anti-social
i wouldn't wanna bring it to school cause it will distract me unless i have a long ass break
if i'm at home i'll be on my PS3 or PC
fml seems like the Xperia Play will better suit my 20-30 min on-the-go gaming needs..but the possibility of playing PS3 games via PSN cloud saves is AMAZING

I think I'm getting the wifi only at launch. I was expecting something like 299 or 349... 250 is a hot deal no matter how you look at it.
Setting a reminder to go line-up for one on Feb 22.
