Finding POIs on Navigon is horrible. I deleted it already, they make you go through categories etc. Can't just search something as simple as "sushi garden" or "shoppers" or maybe I just don't know how to use it. :/ |
for anything text related = blackberry. for ANYTHING other than text = iPhone. personally, i type pretty fast on the iphone cuz im used to it. so to me BB is the fail. why txt when u can talk? why i prefer iphone: big screen/hi def. HD video in/out plays hd video plays countless games few physical mechanical parts huge support base GPS Apps out the ying-yang fast web browser wifi seems like a simple choice to me. |

the iphone has slightlybetter quality... but IMO the bb camera is an overall better camera the speed wins me over.. when i whip out my phone i dont want to scroll thru apps and load the camera app.. takes like 10-15 seconds because i have to focus and shit on the iphone the bb you just press the short key and take a pic which takes like 3 seconds and 3 seconds to upload to facebook.. it looks alot better on screen too.. i guess it all depends on preference. if you take pictures of friends and events and stuff then the iphone camera would be slightly better.. the bb would be a way better camera when spotting cars and taking pictures of homework etc im a iOS fanboy and i like the bb camera more lol but nevertheless its still not bad for a phone camera.. just not as good as i expected it to be edit: even the htc desire camera is better than the iphone.. the iphone camera is overated imo.. i was disappointed when i first got it lol |
iPhone's camera in Daylight is better :p |
I dunno, the bb camera picture looks alot grainier than the iphone. I've had a few shots turn out ok with the 9780, I'm sure the iphone 4 outperforms the berry in good lighting. I mean with limited lighting we cant expect great shots from any camera phone |

Pure win. Oh, and get their hands on some HD res screens |
Despite what everyone said OP, this is about you to be honest. The factors that come into play when choosing between an Iphone and a Blackberry is all about the user. If you need a business friendly oriented phone then you go with the blackberry cause it specializes in this area with its emails, texting, bbm and browser with its QWERTY keyboard , you can't go wrong. If you like Apps/games or always want to do something with the phone, then you go with the Iphone. It can't be broken down any easier than this. Sure blackberry doesn't have a lot of apps nor games because blackberry never intended to make their phones this way, and that is visa versa with the iphone. From personal experience, I have a 9780 , iphone 3g, and a htc diamond , as you can see that's 2 on screen keyboards and one physical QWERTY keyboard. I had the htc first, nice little phone but back when it was developed and distributed, htc has come a long way in improving their phones. The HTC diamond was a okay phone but the screen was too small to my liking as I keppt making mistakes as I was typing. Then I got the iphone (went through 2) apps were great , games were fun til a certain point , screen was bigger than the diamond but typing on it , it was the same, errors here and there. Then I get the blackberry 9700, my first blackberry and I had fell in love with it , I can give up the games and apps for it cause in tthe end I'm mostly just doing some quick texting and browsing. And bbm is such a awesome and well developed app and it is only getting better as they make BBM6. The QWERTY keyboard was awesome, no more touch screen bullshit mistakes and now I'm typing so fast and I can just text/bbm/email without even looking at the keyboard itself cause you just start remembering where everything is and how it is laid out. Like I've said , it all comes down to you and how you will go about using your phone daily whether it be just more apps and games or just hands down texting and bbm. And to everyone who thinks iphones lighting is better? No, iphone does not overtake the blackberry, blackberry has its own flashlight and you get to choose what kind of picture you want to be taking for example close up , night time etc etc. Posted via RS Mobile |

oh another thing i like about iphone is the mobileme tracking gps device. so if someone jacks up ur iphone, u can log on to itunes mobile me for free (offered in 4.2.1) and track down where ur iphone is , lock it up, and send a message to the phone via comp lOL its pretty sick |
I'm typing this on my touch4.1 while using my blackberrys data via Bluetooth!!!! :fuckyea: Posted via RS Mobile |

No blackberry has ever been media oriented, theyre all meant to be for business users and people on the go who need email + messaging fast, with a hint of media. |
|
^ i remember you asking for the ipad version which i beleive is ITETHER you could also try PDANET for both blackberry/iphone4 , it turns your device into a wifi connection so you can tether to your iphone |
w/e suits you, for me its bb cause of bbm , if your a game type than iphone, chatting type, bb |
