so another 30 cents because of carbon tax & the current crisis in ME having an effect on global crude oil prices?

sounds reasonable...if Washington has 30% less than us by the summertime still then this is nothing new.

Whats the big deal? Look at what happened in the last 3 years with oil prices taking the wildest swings and the pump prices barely even budge. Get a plugin already and stop crying.

It can't hit 3$ fast enough. Imagine all those suv soccer moms hogging the left lane on the phone going under the speed limit will have to downsize!

time for Canada to start drilling off the coast of BC since the oil sand in Alberta isn't going to be enough for us all, and hopefully oil price will drop at the cost of marine habitats. :\

I'm sure translink will ask for a big price increase because of the high gas price (read: incompetence). We're screwed whether we drive or not.

Uhm, there is plenty of oil for all of Canada, the only reason we import oil (from norway) is because its actually cheaper then building lines to eastern canada. Our gas prices shouldn't be effected this much but they are.. The only reason we export to the USA is because of NAFTA.

Thank you crazy Colonel Gaddafi for causing part of the Middle East turmoil to jack up gas prices. I hope the rebels take down this loser. Justice and freedom for Libyans! Lower gas prices for Revscene members!

It's time to head over to the States for gas. Bloody oil speculators driving up the oil prices. What happened to the Saudi's increasing production to make up for the decrease in Libyan oil?

Yup, has nothing to do with supply, it's all BS speculation which is driving up the prices.
