3.5 L of death -_____________-

brute_4s 04-19-2011 07:55 AM

this is why we should all have a beater as well....you cant complain about the gas prices if you are running a tuned car. i have a 350+ hp wrx and i cant wait to get it back on the road for summer but i also have the beater for the rest of the year.

summer = smiles per gallon
rest of the year = miles per gallon

6insomnia9 04-19-2011 08:26 AM

Got to spend money to make money ;p

I dont really care about how much it is now, cant do anything about it.

the_law82 04-19-2011 09:39 AM

I think I've said this before...

On the bright side, less traffic? :troll:

Glove 04-19-2011 10:24 AM

ya, i got a fuel friendly beater aswell,

i used to put 89 in the civic just for the hell of it,

not anymore,

now I drive all the way to cosco in washington and fill up for 35 bucks, vs 60 bucks here.

94 octane rapes me though...

ya a scooter... honestly i dunno man... never put my Upass to such good use over like the last year LOL

me and my friend developed this skytrain to skytrain pick up haha.. no one drives across town anymore
=.= and it doesnt help when you are working like 20 hours a week for $10/hr

skylinergtr 04-19-2011 11:20 AM

$50 every 2 or 3 days in my BMW. fml

why do i drive a lot. I've put over 700kms this past week.

It does feel good to have the good weather car back, but gas is a KILLER.

may have to consider some pt. roberts trips.

jack3d 04-20-2011 01:55 AM

40L @ $1.38 = $55.20 for the beater
65L @ $1.54 = $100.10 for the summer car

Good times :D

Try comparing BC with Washington state. They are paying 94 cents/litre average vs our 1.25 average. We pay 30% more!

At least it says its been going down for the past few days lol

....for now

TheNewGirl 04-22-2011 08:04 AM

I know a couple of people who have picked up vespa like scooter bikes for the winter and they're VERY happy with them.

As per http://www.bcgasprices.com/ regular was 1.19 in Mission this morning and is at it's highest at 139.9 in Kelowna atm.
