Just drive without a license. I'm sure that will work out well.

baggdis300 03-19-2011 09:55 PM

get your L drive as a N
if you don't get pulled over in that one year span that means you are a good enough driver to get your N on your first try.

more than likely you will be caught within the first month :)

What company do you run so I can be sure to avoid using them in the future

Greenstoner 03-19-2011 10:08 PM

Yo, drug trafficing is bad for u !!!

^Yea imagine the trouble of having to explain why you're driving without a licence and why you have a bunch of drugs in your trunk.

FerrariEnzo 03-19-2011 11:31 PM

man if there was a way to get pass the L stage, i dont really think they would have it in the first place...

falcon 03-20-2011 12:00 AM

Get your L and hire someone older than 25 to be your chauffeur that can sit in the passenger seat and be your supervisor.

I'm sure a bum would do this for a few dollars an hour.

I believe some high-end and accredited driving schools (like Young Driver's) have a fast track program where you can cut the Learner's DL period in half. you will need to go through their full training program, of course.

^^even then... that bum has to have a valid DL.

hey kid, driving is a privilege. you have to earn it.
those who take shortcuts, always get fucked.

EmperorIS 03-20-2011 12:30 AM

That would be insane. Can anyone confirm if there is anything like this? I know there's a program to speed your N graduation but never heard anything for your L.

Thanks

Edit: nvm found this

After March 31, 2007 any new driver who starts an approved course (complete their first lesson) will no longer be eligible for a Learner stage time reduction.

lameee

zulutango 03-20-2011 06:41 AM

You could buy a Delorean and accelerate to 88 mph? :woot2:

The 6 month reduction for passing an accepted course like YD will get you a 6 month reduction in your N time period. They no longer reduce the L time.

1exotic 03-20-2011 07:20 AM

isn't the L 2 year process now instead of 1? thought they just changed that in January.

That's what I thought, too. Taking an approved class only knocks 6 months off.

Man this is either legitimately dumb, or pretty good at trolling ahahhaha

I see someone's watching the Space channel this morning ;)

But isn't time travel against the restrictions on the L license? Plus, make sure you only do it on the freeway, as 88mph on surface streets would be excessive speeding and get your time machine impounded :fullofwin:

C1v1CRyder 03-20-2011 09:01 AM

the L should be 5 years.

q0192837465 03-20-2011 09:05 AM

Lol, still remember the days when L only takes 3 months when u take a course or something. Good times.

Dang I feel so old now. When I got my license I only had to wait 3 months after my L. Also had to take young driver's. Daaang 1 year now...

stewie 03-20-2011 09:12 AM

why do i have a feeling OP will be making a thread VERY soon titled "got caught driving with L...any chance to dispute it?" thread in the police section...

Simplex123 03-20-2011 09:29 AM

Did you take your L when you were 15 in Alberta..? Or do you not have one at all

Why? Probably because you've been on RS for more than two months...

L? 3 months?

Good times = learners on your 16th birthday and regular license 30 days later.

BTW skipping is for 7 year old girls.
