That isn't paint... its tape. It's to protect the lip from damage.....

the guy taped it to prevent damage to lip.
the roads getting to spanish banks werent exactly car friendly.

The E28 you were in had so much character man, I was about to buy a E28 535i for $800 but I was too slow. I wanted to slam one so badly when I saw "Rusty" on Stanceworks.

If everything goes to plan I will have it out on the road this summer and driving it as often as possible.
Yeah my buddies e28 is awesome. The ride quality is... well interesting to say the least, but it adds to the character.
I almost had a white e28 535is as my first car that I could have had for $750. Needed some work but nothing that would have broke the bank. But the parents didn't like the idea. haha
It will forever be the one that got away.
