Location: Area wide, 76 speed humps o Project description: Traffic calming improvements o Partner: City of Vancouver o ICBC contribution: $20,000 For Vancouver. Fuck. That. |
Somebody help me out here, but isn't investing in transportation infrastructure a little out of their jurisdiction? Within City Limits = municipal. Outside City limits = provincial. Transportation standards = federal |
they should be investing more than that back to the community every year |

What they need to do is repave kingsway. It's a roller coaster everytime I go over Rupert or turning on to it. Posted via RS Mobile |
this MITE not work.. ICBC wants to pocket money.. so 8mil MITE go into their pockets while the 1mil MITE be used for the roads... but i MITE be wrong... |
Yay! 9 million. That would pay for a road no bigger than Number 3 road. |
we MITE need to fix up the UBC stretch of SW Marine a bit |
^ +1 especiallys if you are on rupert... and driving straight thru kingsway LOL... its fuckin BAWS |
They should pave that bit of road leading to Spanish Banks so we can have better Spring Meets. |

yep turning left anywhere on rupert and kingsway honestly..you don't even have traction to stop or turn properly at any speed what so ever, car jumps up and down when you touch the brakes your tires are barely contacting the road lol |
LOLLLL all of it is so true about Rupert St.. They need to get on that shit asap. |
Location: Garden City Road and Cook Road o Project description: Intersection improvement o Partner: City of Richmond o ICBC contribution: $33,600 Why couldn't they have done it right the first time, this intersection is brand new! |
They are still sneaky fucks. Seems like a smart investment on their part though, invest some money to help make roads safer so there are less accidents to pay for. Even if it does cost more than they expect 18 million is just a fraction of their 24.5 billion(2009 profit). Seriously how many companys are making money off of pretty much everyone in an enitre province? They better not invest too much though, they wont ever put themselves out of work but they could really cut into their profit. |
pure publicity stunt so you wouldnt be asking why the executives got 100+mil in bonuses this year Posted via RS Mobile |
Lol @ $9 million. I mean seriously that's nothing when it comes to road repair. |
