And here I moved on from my blackberry to get AWAY from BBM. I've got better apps to load onto my android than yet another messenger app. |
Is it just me or is this app draining my batteries fast? |
so far none of these third party messenger apps come even close to BBM, BBM feels more like its part of the phone rather than just an app but then if blackberry offers BBM to other phones, who the hell would want a blackberry ai you just cant have everything |
Who wants to add me :alone: Posted via RS Mobile |
Whatever happen to old fashion SMS? :alone: Posted via RS Mobile |
lol piece of shit app isnt sending/ receiving mssgs anymore lol bbm or nothing |
looks like its down right now. pin is LPL00JEX |
i cant even register lol piece of junk |
No one's going to be able to duplicate what BBM has done for it's users. It doesn't take up much resources like other apps, it's always online unlike other apps, and it feels like it's part of the firmware instead of being an app. BBM > * /thread |
It crashed about 30 mins ago, give it some time |
Live Profile actually working now: LPEI6NFF |
lol this shit is laggy as hell. |
no kidding, for some reason you cant receive my noodz |
Rumors of BBM coming to andriod and Iphone sometime this year also. From what i remember reading, it's going to have very limited capabilities (no groups, no file transfer) giving the actual BB users that edge on that. Not sure if this is a smart move for RIM or not... Here's 1 source i retrieved and looks like an update and you iphone guys will get it sooner than expected, if true: http://gigaom.com/apple/report-black...hone-april-26/ Edit: As far as live profile goes, it seems a bit glitchy but like guys said...still in beta stage. Whatsapp is still my IM agent of choice. Group chat seems pretty solid right now and can support up to 10 members (used to be limited at 5) and always liked the easy file transfer capabilities and the check marks indicating if it's delivered but not specifying if it's read (can be a pain when you don't want to talk to someone but they REALLY want to talk to you). I've also downloaded Kik but it never grabbed me so haven't really used it much. I also use google talk for a lot of friends as that comes ready to go on BB's and Androids (not sure about iphones) and can continue conversations on a computer once you get to one. Beluga was slow and the layout was bulky on my phone (android) but i can also use this when on the computer so i tend to just do that, or use the website on my phone. |

bbm > * as far as bbm on other devices go, if rim was smart, they would charge for the pin to allow bbm to use for each device. |
people are such suckers for PINS |
I don't get why people get so excited over these apps... If you have data why don't you just get an MSN app.. basically everyone has msn already. |

^ well you can block/ignore people, turn data off, or just turn your phone on silent so you wouldn't even know they're messaging you if you are busy or don't want to be bothered. I dunno.. I don't really have any times when I don't want to be reached lol |
