April Fool's Joke's

1 Attachment(s)
Well since we have until noon today I was wondering what jokes other people have played today?

I haven't done all that much. One of my co-workers loves his SS coffee mug so what I did last night was freeze it in a block of ice :fullofwin:

As well a good one I will be doing today is taking a screen shot of the desktop and then putting that as wall paper and removing all the icons so they can't click anything

is anyone else doing anything?/?

just pulled that on my coworker. haha

also, you can put tape to cover the bottom of the optical mouse so they can't use it. it's pretty lame but it gets them everytime.

You can also just edit the system policy to not display icons on the desktop - even more maddening because they're all there if you go in through Explorer :troll:

This one's a classic, too... almost gave my buddy an aneurysm by putting this on his server :fullofwin:

The wife and I both set our FB settings to "single" last year, that got a flood of reactions ;)

Hahaha I have that same coffee mug.

I liked the desktop screen shot background idea so much, I just did it to my boss. I'm waiting for his reaction once he gets to work this morning.

That's actually a very well crafted description. Had I never sold outerwear, I would have fallen for that.

April 1 Alert: WestJet introduces state-of-the-art money-saving feature

Helium mixed in ventilation system lightens the load

CALGARY, April 1 /CNW/ - WestJet today introduced a new state-of-the-art money-saving feature on board all flights aimed at countering the rising price of jet fuel. Effective today, WestJet will be using air mixed with helium in the ventilation system to lighten the weight of the aircraft.

Helium is approximately 85 per cent lighter than nitrogen, which accounts for 80 per cent of the air we breathe. With a maximum takeoff weight of more than 150,000 pounds, adding helium to the air mix will provide fuel savings of approximately three to four per cent on board WestJet's Boeing Next-Generation 737s. This will, in turn, allow WestJet to pass the savings on to its guests.

"As a low-cost airline, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to keep our costs low," said Richard Bartrem, WestJet's Vice-President, Communications and Community Relations. "We have been working with our aviation partners to determine the feasibility of this initiative and we are very excited that it has come to fruition."

For more information and an on-board demonstration, please visit westjet.com/helium.
