I find prostitution offensive, not because it's morally or ethically wrong, but because I'm putting every bit of time and energy I have into university and that's partially motivated by the promise of a high future income potential. Any half decent piece of ass can spread her legs on craigslist and earn three times what I'll make with my future degree while having sex though, fuck. If I were a girl not only would I be making $300 an hour, but I'd be driving an M3 cabriolet instead of a Civic.

yo man, that's the power of women.

If you want you can spread your legs and make 300 an hour too. well maybe only 200. haha.

but how about you become a millionaire and have 300 women spread their legs for you. and all you have to do is throw money in their face and they take it anyway you want. and they arent even whores. hahaha.

that's the power of men.

the way you put it, you can also start dealing drugs or doing some other illegal activities and get really rich too. there's more than one way to skin a cat.

and anyway, once they reach a certain age, their income will lower and then beyond a certain point no one will wanna fuck em. still angry at prostitutes cuz they make more than you? lol.

by the way, most pimps are men.

I'm not angry, I'm just a bit envious of women my age who have the opportunity to finance their educations through a very lucrative profession that capitalizes on men's greatest and most universal weakness. I have friends who work as escorts and although they admit that there are customers they don't enjoy working with it's generally pretty chill, and it frees up a massive amount of time to focus on school.

I would never even consider working as a pimp or drug dealer, although prostitution is illegal and capitalizes on mens' weaknesses those activities are very different and destructive.

No matter how you look at it, you are paying for sex. Bottom line is how much you are willing to pay/invest and the quality of sex.

Pay a hooker - 1 hr of fun (you would probably want to use protection)
Pay for a date - you get nothing or she might come over for the entire night (you would want to make sure she is on the pill for extra fun)

no but atheists are generally social libertarians, and legalizing prostitutes puts the workers in a safer environment and they will gain rights in their workplace

Massage parlour rubs council wrong way

Water Club located on top floors of Radisson Hotel shut down

BY ALAN CAMPBELL, RICHMOND NEWS MARCH 16, 2011

A massage parlour inside one of Richmond's top hotels has been shut down by the city for two months amid allegations of prostitution.

The Water Club -- which rents the 11th and 12th floors of the Radisson Hotel on Cambie Road -- has had its business license suspended for 60 days after police and bylaw officers caught naked employees and customers in compromising positions.

Members of the Richmond Gang Enforcement Team even entered the club on one occasion, after spotting license plates of known gang associates in the hotel's parking lot.

The team found the individuals in question inside the club, surrounded by fresh marijuana butts.

Over a year, the privately-owned club built up a catalogue of bylaw infractions, including: staying open after hours; smoking marijuana; drinking alcohol on the premises; refusing entry to the RCMP and licensing officers; and numerous occasions of unlicensed masseurs caught naked in darkened rooms with equally naked customers.

A used condom was also found in one of the rooms during one of the unscheduled inspections.

Many of the inspection raids were prompted by calls from hotel staff, who got fed up with what appeared to be underage Asian females -- whom they understood to be prostitutes -- heading up to the Water Club armed with alcohol during the early hours.

And on several occasions, the club's manager, Paul Jin, either refused to let the officers into the premises or took a while to come to the door.

When Jin did let the officers in, he frequently told them the club was closed and that there was no one here.

But more than once, the officers discovered employees and customers either naked or wrapped in just a towel.

The same customers claimed to have no knowledge of how they got there. Although it was later found that staff and clients had been using an emergency exit to come and go from the club, usually when an inspection was sprung.

High profile Richmond lawyer Dave Tarnow, who represented the club at Monday's city hall hearing, asked council for an adjournment because the club's three directors lived in China and wanted to be present for the hearing.

Council denied Tarnow's request and proceeded with the hearing, during which, the club's lawyer called on one of the masseurs to give evidence.

Council and Mayor Malcolm Brodie were confused when it became clear the employee had only worked there for two months, long after the bylaw infractions took place.

Nevertheless, the young Asian woman told council, when prompted by Tarnow, how there is strict no smoking rules at the club, no nakedness and no sex offered to clients.

She added that if the club was shut down for two months, she would find it very difficult to get another job.

Tarnow then told council how the Water Club is a "substantial business" which the owners have invested up to $1 million in, have to pay $20,000 a month in rent and employ between 30 and 40 people.

The club has since erected several no smoking signs and the windows have been uncovered, Tarnow said.

"This particular company has not been before council before and this is really a first offence," he added. "The lady that was caught in a compromising position has had her employment terminated."

Council was unconvinced and unhappy none of the directors or even the manager showed face at the hearing.

you quoted from richmond news, the richmond review was even funnier and I quote "The council failed to take into account that they were putting over 20 young ladies out of work."

A friend of a friend went to Vegas for my friends stag.

There were enough chuckles about "what happens in LV, stays in LV" at the wedding and I'm finally like you gotta tell me.

Now, this friend of his was an ugly guy. Damn. Bad hair, bad clothes chubby, stocky, short, bad skin, no social skills you name it. His long term gf was even worse. Boner killer.

I'm sure she had an amazing personality. Sorry, this just in, no, we are getting reports that she didn't even have a personality.

But apparently this guy turned into a fucking stud in Vegas. He had done all the arrangements before hand and picked his girl out over the internet.

One of the brothels picks them up in a limo and they head out into the desert and he gets to nail the fuck out of something in our world on a scale of 1-10 is a 20 in his. Destroys her in his own way.

Walks out like he owns the city.

THAT is power of a prostitute. I don't think we should be like Thailand and promote it as a career for our daughters, and its risky and all that, but this woman saved this guys life.

Sure, he wasn't in immediate danger, but this guy was a boring dude, with a boring job and a boring girl,, but turned into Chuck Norris for half an hour balls deep in Russia in the middle of the desert.

And he can go home and be the devoted boyfriend to his girl. When he closes his eyes, he can feel it all over again, because trust me, even the paper bag ain't gonna help.

I'm not saying its the ultimate solution. I'm just saying he took a step to take control of something and compensated a lady financially for a)making the long flight from Russia and b) having a good imagination to picture anyone else balls deep in her. Let's also face facts...short of a small miracle in genetics, I doubt she even felt put out. Or felt it at all.

Could you then use the confidence to step on a treadmill? Maybe to go into a decent salon and say "this up top? Fix it."? Maybe go home one day and say "bitch. You ugly". Tell his boss to go fuck himself? Who knows. I don't know the guy.

I'm just saying lets not cast the role of John as the instant perv. I think this may be the case where winning is winning. Yeah, he used cash directly. Others use cars and money. Others dress well and use their moves. But maybe he could take that winning feeling and want more of it.

Maybe next time he'll be able to find the solo girl hanging with the hotties and work the nerve to score.

6793026 05-15-2011 07:21 PM

to be honest, the story was great, but you'll see 3 months down the road, the dude is going to be dreaming about this. always talking about the girl in vegas.

3 yrs into the marriage, he'll be paying for sex ALL the time... and it's extremely sad to see that happen.

2damaxmr2 05-16-2011 12:37 AM

Marriage is overrated. It is the biggest money sink in the universe.

my friend once made a funny comment; he said isnt paying for sex just like having a gf?

pretty much

Spidey 05-16-2011 07:35 AM

even if prostitution was legal, i could never stoop myself so low as to pay for sex.. yes you can debate that "dating" is paying your way for sex, but i rather have friends with benefits, in which it is a "longer term" investment :)

you gotta remember though a hooker's career where she is making good money probably lasts 5yrs

for most guys it is true, unfortunately.. it is usualy guys that are whipped or something is fucking wrong with them. i split everything 50 50 with my gf. rent, groceries, dining out, etc.

Z3guy 05-16-2011 11:44 AM

^ what do you do when you have kids? how do you split everything 50/50? easy to split things 50/50 when you are starting out......if you have a beautiful wife/gf...you are paying for sex one way or another..........

what does beautiful have to do with it.. hopefully if it is a girl you married/have kids with, you should think your wife is somewhat attractive.

i have never paid for sex with any of my gf's. if i met a girl that put me in that situation, it's an easy "fuck off". i have done it before. no gf of mine will be a gucci bag/tiffany's whore.

50 50 doesn't just have to be money.. if she stays at home and looks after the kids, imo, that is work.. being a mom or stay at hoem dad is a full time job. i would honestly rather be working than be at home all day raising kids, so imo that is a fair trade. on another note, if both parents are still working and the kids are in daycare/with a nanny, why wouldn't things be 50 50.

Z3guy 05-16-2011 11:57 AM

because life is not 50/50 ever...what does beautiful have to do with it? everything....attractive people always get more than they deserve Vs ugly people...more so for females...if you a smoking hot 21yr old female, you soon realize you can get almost anything you want from a some stupid fuck that will do anything to be with you. Once a woman or man realize this, they know they have the power. This only works if one party is allot more attractive than the other. No one said it fair...but this is Vancouver.

Why do you think all guys want to make it big? so they can enjoy the fruits of their labour....cars, houses, chicks, etc.

"50/50 doesn't have to be money"...but everything you quoted; rent, groceries, dining out are all about money???

Now, if two ugly people get together that is a different story, they will be soul mates because they know they are lucky as fuck to find anyone period....
