^hook it up! |
Wow that's pricey. I remember going to the same event in Ottawa and seats were ~$20 and that was worth it, no way I'm paying $50. |
it's funny. Every year I hear that this show will be cancelled. And every year (since three years ago), i've been pleasantly surprised it is still on! btw "Limited Early Bird tickets are only $35 plus tax and service charge, and are available through Tickets Tonight." edit; my bad... "Early Bird $43.45 includes all taxes and fees. Price:$54.90 includes all taxes and fees." |
if you enjoy fireworks on the beach, half the fun of it (when i was younger anyway) was meeting up with friends early, getting a spot, chillin on the beach, and waiting for the fireworks. the actual fireworks was just the icing on the cake to a great day on the beach. i would never pay 50 bucks for a damn seat! |

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm selling fireworks tickets eh? Who here has a home theatre room? 1) Projector and big ass subwoofer. 2) Turn up the heat in your house. Add a bright ass lamp. 3) Throw in some sand. Hire random douches to come by and step all over your shit/kick sand all over your shit every 2 minutes. 4) Turn off lights. Stick in Blu-ray recording of fireworks. 5) ??? 6) Profit. |
not going to bother going to the beach, no smoking allowed on the beaches this year :speechless: |
nice, the fireworks are at least on saturdays and 1 wednesday, thats perfect for me! (well..not so much wednesday) wake up in the morning, pack the car up, grab some friends, spend the day at the beach, go for lunch, back to the beach, get dinner, back to the beach, fireworks, go for some drinks...my kinda day!!! nice and relaxing! |
i either dont go at all or go once and make a day out of it. and when i do, i kinda enjoy sittig around a buncha ppl at night far away - it adds to the atmosphere imo...friends boat would be cool...but my friends arent baller enuf to have boats lol Posted via RS Mobile |
i hope that no one show up or lines up at the 'free section' ...wherever that is. |

I've always wondered if you could just sit on Burrard Bridge sidewalk and watch? Anyone tried that? |
Yup. Went for drinks at Moxies on Broadway and walked down to the bridge and watched a couple of years ago. |
