I actually paid for that PPV.. even had to go to Rogers to borrow a box for it :fuckthatshit:

^^ I remember when Roger's Video stores had that desk at the back of the store for box rentals, etc.

Rogers was the centre of the universe for tv entertainment.

Now....they don't even exist anymore, lol.

You must have lived in a rich neighborhood, because Halloween candy was always small. Unless you found a house that was giving out full sized candy!

Hondaracer 10-30-2013 11:33 AM

Nah like even the coffee crisp/kit kats minis are like 30% smaller than 10 years ago

^I am not too familiar with the situation so please correct me if I'm wrong...

...but from my understanding when HK was being returned to China a whole influx of HK citizens moved away out of fear. Then after a while when things didn't seem so bad they all moved back.

My Dad bought a condo, maybe 10-15 years ago. The seller was a HK lady moving back to HK. She had a huge Sony CRT tv with an HK plug attached to it. We were hoping she would leave it for us, but I guess she took that gigantic TV back home.
