UBC theme:

- I remember when University Boulevard had two (narrow) lanes of traffic each way instead of the current one lane + bike lane.

- The current bus depot used to be faculty parking.

- Some newer buildings like the Forestry Building & Life Sciences Centre used to be student parking lots.

- I remember the Koener Library before the renovation.

Is that pizza place still in the SUB? I think it's called "Pie R Squared?" It would be a national tragedy if that place disappeared. Also the cheap Chinese place with the bright red chairs in the basement of the Music Building.

I remember when the road on Royal Oak between Dover and Deer Lake was a narrow two lane road always backed up with traffic.

Drove up the road recently and saw the old road to the side. Brings back memories!

I remember it use to cost $0.35 for kids and they had a swing door that you had to open to get down the 2 steps to get off the electric buses.
And on the #22 Knight street bus, you had to wait for green light to turn on before you could push on the doors and then they would open.
