How long do you have to wait before you can stop using spoilers. Or is every post going to be spoiler'ed? If you come into the thread you should be expecting spoilers.

The restaurant in question doesn't seem to be getting a lot of good reviews though.

Think the true tell was when he announced a few weeks ago that he would be hosting a screening of the finale at Ensemble

Finally caught the finale and it did seem like a very close race. Dale's fanciness could've been his demise, but considering it was a fixed menu style the cohesiveness and thoughtfulness of the courses worked for the concept. Having another local restauranteur who also does fine dining probably didn't hurt either.

Rob was the opposite, poor menu planning by Rob really screwed him over. Seriously, it was basically a plate of fat after fat after fat after fat. Chevre, foie sausage, bone marrow and fried dough? The only actual protein was the bit of oxtail on the bone marrow, and for veg it was the but of apple slaw on the amuse.

Connie's menu was pretty good overall, I'd love to try that terrine. It seemed the multiple ways per plate kinda messed her up as she would have one great one, but one or two mediocre ones.

Pretty cool, looking forward to TCC Season 2.
