The game takes place during the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and is set in Raccoon City, whose residents have been turned into zombies after an outbreak of the T-virus, a biological weapon illegally developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella. The story is a reinterpretation of the events depicted in the original games, changing certain occurrences in the series. Players will take the role of either an officer of the Umbrella Security Service (USS), or a member of a United States Special Operations task-force. Both have vastly different objectives: Members of the USS are tasked with destroying evidence of Umbrella's illegal activities, including killing survivors of the outbreak, while the Special Operations team has to expose the actions of the company. Operation Raccoon City will allow the player to make decisions that could have major repercussions on the series' storyline, such as causing the death of Resident Evil 2 protagonist Leon S. Kennedy.

The playable characters in the game each have their own unique abilities. For instance, one of the revealed characters is equipped with a cloaking ability. Alongside the single-player mode, the game will also offer four-player co-operative gameplay, which pits the USS against the US Special Operations task-force

Just be very beware That Slant Six is developing this
now i know we should support our local game companies but they fucked up soo bad at Socom Confrontation..
even after a year the game was released, they had numerous bugs and features that never came to be in the online play.. to the point where Sony just stop supporting the game all together and handed it back to Zipper to develop Socom 4
the game looks like its running on the same engine, seriously if Capcom was going to outsource their IP, they could have pick a more reputable game company
wow.... ummm game play looks more like L4D than resident evil

Judging by their website the only thing Slant Six Games have under their belt is 3 SOCOM games; Confrontation, Fireteam Bravo 3, and Tactical Strike. I've never felt the intrigue to try or even look into any of these games, nor have I ever really heard anything about them.
Why would Capcom delegate the production of a game which is one of their more productive IP's to a company that has little experience? They better not blow this. It doesn't look that great so far.
